Thread: Things you hate most about being a Doc:

Ok, its late..and well, my server forum is not to entertaining right now...so..to all true docs out there, that will never drop it, what are some of the things about your profession that gets on your nerves, and no, not talking about bugs/hotfixes/broken havla..ect...
- Having my droid out, "Buffster", making a person 3m away "glow" from an enhancement and get tells.."Are you buffing"...
- Having been told im a bad doc for not having a surgical style droid. I have all MSE droids, with 10 storage, food chem station, and 1.10 rating. Some store armor, some meds, buffs...god forbid my little helper don't meet your specifications
- A crate of 4 BEC's, 3 ACRDM's, 5 Liq Suspen., 12 Solid shell, all kicking around BEGGING to be used but you just cant seem to get time, and all they do is get in the way and take up space.
- The herbivore meat you so desparately want, comes from the animal that has the uber wooly hide, and there is no chance of competing with AS's and end up loosing out on a large quantity of meat cuz JoeRanger, Inc decided to go to the highest bidder.
Well, thats about it for me. What's ya'll bigger beefs with being a doc? Keep it fun, thats the intention...

5.Getting killed after buffing an overt (my own fault really)
6.Crafting (after a while I get disturbed by the fact that I quite like it really)

I hate it when I get the message "your current battle fatigue is affecting you healing" right after I see in spatialwhere Ihealedmy health for 2304and myaction for 1201.
Hate it when that happens.
sorry but doc is great. Some people are going to be rude to you whether you are a doc or a artisan. Ignore the goofs in the game and enjoy the greatest prof in SWG.
The only other 'support' prof in the game with anywhere near the healing abilities is CM and they don't have enough points left to master it and a melee prof. Doc are actually more needed in combat then a combat medic and have more points left over to play with.
there is nothing I hate about being a doc....

I LOVE BEING A DOC!
I LOVE HEALING, BUFFING, REZZING AND CRAFTING!!! I LOVE BEING NEEDED AND I LOVE THE PUBLIC!!!!!
The one thing I hate is goofy @ssed weasels who start stupid threads about:
"What I hate about being a doc"
"Tell us about your worst experince"
"Why does everyone hate docs"
"You're not going to belive what happened to me"
"Docs make too much money"
"insert your whiner topic here"
Keep it fun you say but your thread is all about focusing on negativity. With the exception of the Jedi forum this is the biggest "poor me" depository of crap on the boards.
Yeah I know I shouldn't feed the trolls but I gave up smoking and this is all I have!

I just started this prof and I enjoy it a lot (not a master yet, but will be there shortly). only thing I have about the prof is the goofs who cannot form a line. they kind of huddle around in a mass and you gotta pick which ones were there first. but now a days it seems most people are cool about prices/stats. especialy since I get one whne there ain't too many, if any at all, docs around to buff, so I get lots of business.

Your 4th point is so very true. Try being theDoc and the AS.....
The one thing I hate the most is the fact I pay 100x as much for my Doc resources than my AS resources. Cost me so much more to be a Doc. My AS keeps the Doc in buisness.
I feel like i'm getting ripped off everytime I buy anything for Doc...

I hate all the thinking ahead required for crafting. It just wrecks you.

Right thumb print - Agree on the resource bit being a general pain in the arse
Another thumb print - Agree on the insults we get from players when we buff and when we don't buff and even from doctors who buys your packs and said man, ur packs sucks (as if i forced them to click BUY)
Another thumb print - Agree on the annoyance when noobs or peeps who acts like a noob to get buffs for free (I didn't know bout buff til god-knows-when, i was always wondering y they dun get incap after 1 hit!! that was when group hunting was still around)

One more additional thumbprint - The fact that they think all MD's are rich, sigh resources burns me dry.
resources burns me dry.BUT... i love crafting, i love buffing occasionally, i love finding resources we need so badly in people's junk resource vendor (sometimes it happens :smileywink, i love helping out my doctor friends, i love giving my 2 cents advise helpingpeople grind and i love experimenting and crafting as a 12pt doc.
