Thread: Petition to nerf the doctor profession.

Premise: Master doctors should not be allowed to master any other second ter combat profession.


The doctor profession should require Medic and BioEngineer Tissue Engineering 4. This will only leave enough skill points for Master Doctors to be master bioengineers. Non Master doctors could still master a ter 2 profession. It would also encourage Doctors to perform other support professios such as Squad leader and Creature Handler.


Master Doctors are far to powerful to be allowed to master a second combat profession.

um, 1 star and what does tissue engineering have any thing to do w/ meds?

Ummm. What's our first combat profession? I will certainly agree that doctor buffs are too powerful. However, that can and will be fixed. In what other ways do you believe Doctors are too powerful?


Also, there's this little thing called the Combat Upgrade which is right around the corner. That will help to address disparities between professions to (hopefully) prevent one particular profession or template from being overly powerful. This applies to more than just the Doctor profession, of course.

Hehe. If you are a half-way decent pvp'r then Doc's/combat profession isnt much of a problem. And who dies in PvE anyway? If you only have room for one combat profession then your defenses aren't going to be real great. People who meddle into the doc or just master medic and have defense stacking are just as effective. Why should we have to get Bio-egineer and get the scout line? That doesn't make any sense. And as for your post, it accomplishes nothing. We cant change this game and if we could we wouldnt change it because of your post.

Heh.


Sounds like this guy just got ignored by someone with a master doc title who was also holding a T21 and got told to get a buff from the buffers in Cnet after he /tell'd the doc to buff him.

sure NP then lets also make it so that no one can do more than 1 profession, you are a rifleman then that's it, if you are a scout then all you can be is a ranger if you want to go on. who cares you need some skill in a weapon to kill the creatures to harvest, it is all in the name of fairness.
