Im a Master Swordsman, and i want to pick up some Doc skills, mainly to be able to rebuff myself after current buffs expire/or/untimely death in the wilderness. I know that i'll need Advanced wound treatment to use buff packs, but do i need to know how to craft them, or can i just buy them from a vendor? And if so how high do i need to go with my med use skills?

For the med use 89-90 Ds out there (and don't expect people to make anything less) you need xx4x. Minimum to buff is x2xx, but you get better buffs (by half the pack strength) with x4xx for 5 points. 0440 sounds best, and you can use pretty much every med in the game.
