Hi,
I've been a Doctor for about 3 weeks. I got my +25 med use clothing, 110 droid etc, +8 crafting tool and +43 crafting station... I used to buy pre-made buff packs and meds but now, i want to make my own. I made my first buff set yesterday and i'm puzzled by the results. ALL the ressources to make the components were top knotch resources, nothing below 850, including the avian meat.
When I buy a buff pack, it's generalle 840 power, 30-32 uses depending on the different meds. For me to reach 850 power, I have to use all my 10 experimentation points on power when doing the buff meds. That gives me good results on the power, but 20-21 uses. I'm still happy because it is going to cost me far less money to buff people, but I'm wondering how people out there can get 850+ power, and 30 uses. I could invest a lot of money to get +20 experimentation and 2 points, but i'm feeling I'll be able to get 2-3 more uses per pack so it'll take a LOT of buffs just to pay that back. The one thing I don't know is, does components could also benifit from those 2 extra uses to give me 10 more uses at the end.

The Number of Uses for buff packs comes mainly from your ABEC, the Advanced Biological Effect Controller. ABECs can theoretically reach 25 power and 25 charges, but with 800-900 range resources on OQ, PE and UT, you'll hit around the 20/20 range. The ABEC is the only subcomponent which you can experiment on and raise uses.
Be sure to experiment on the number of charges first and get it over 20, then go for power. I've made a 25power/11charge ABEC... just remember that the charges on your ABEC add directly onto the charges of the final pack.
Currently I'm using some 19/19 ABECs, they're working pretty good.

Great! I didn't expect to get an answer that fast! I don't think i'll mass produce buffs but for personal use, the more charges I can get per set, the more profit I can make
