Thread: Bio's in Stim D's quality is completely irrelevent, right?
Is the quality comletelty ignored, due to multiple identical problems, or does it just ignore the fact you are using advanced bio's?
I get no bonus for using advanced, just making sure there's no difference for quality too before i do a bio run.
Jingo,
The quality is very important. This is true for all subcomponents when making higher level stims. It is the quality of the subcomponents that adds to the base damage and charge ratings of your meds.
Bio controllers charges directly translate into greater number of uses in the final product.
The power rating for all other components directly affect the pre-experimentation damage rating. This is why advanced components are able to boost the effectivity of meds so much.
E.g. basic bio controller with 900/900 resources - 6 charges, 6 power. Advanced bio controller with good resources 700/800 - 17 charges, 8 power. (All after experimentation)
E.g. Basic Solid Delivery Shell with 900/900 resources - 16 or 17 power. Advanced delivery shell with medium to good resources 600/800 - 92 power.
Experimentation can be used to alleviate some of the shortcomings of the lower quality resources, but the lower the quality resource (or component), the lower the starting values and experimentation caps.
You misunderstand ![]()
i am an expert stim maker, i spend tons of time and money getting the best resources.
My stim D's are 700/30 using only adv liquid, if i use adv bio and chem they go to 770/30, still 30 charges.
Advanced bio's do not improve D's over standard ones. As i understand it this is due to a problem with the multiple identical item requirement in D's and other items.
So my question given that advanced bio's have no effect is wether ANY value on your multiple identical components is actually taken into account.
I think i'll have done testing it soon anyway lol so will end up answering my own Q, just thought i'd post see if anyone could naswer before i was done testing.
my top quality resources - 755/30 stim
My lower grade but good resources - 755/30
Some junk i found in the bank - 3 bugged crates... grrr! ![]()
my top quality resources - 755/30
My lower grade but good resources - 755/30
Some junk i found in the bank not experimented(1/1 stats)- 755/30
So anytime multiple identical resources are called for, not only does it not recognise advance and standard, but it does not recognise resource atributes either.
So stop wasting your best resources and turn out some junk bio's for use in D's
>> So for now, don't bother to create adv components in a factory.
You can still create adv components in a factory... Just use them for Stim-B's, C's, or anything else that doesn't require multiple-identical components from a factory crate.
GPF.
There's a bug right now with using advanced components in any schematic that calls for 'identical' items. Basically, it ignores that it is advanced, and will treat it as a regular item.
So for now, don't bother to create adv components in a factory.
