Thread: Top Resources needed by Doctors

I was wondering wh. at type's of specific resources are needed by those in the doctor profession and then what stat on the resource is specifically useful to making the stimpacksSo far the resources I know are:


-Lokian Wild Wheat


-Tatoonian Fiberplast


-Dantooine Berry Fruit


-Talusian Water Vapor


I still have no idea what stat is most useful in these though. My guess would be overall quality but I'm not a doctor so I really don't know. Any help you could give me would be great.

Generally we medics/doctors/cm need overall quality, potential energy,unit toughness however this is suppose to change with the first of many "big patches"

There are 4 main subcomponents that we need to make on a regular basis, and for the advanced versions, each takes two specilized ingredients. Those were mentioned above in this thread, so I won't cover that again. Get the best you can and use it sparingly and specifically.


As for the regular stuff, you want the BEST organic and inorganic you can find (highest overall experimental efficiency, not JUST highest OQ or PE). When you find something truely incredible, drop what you're doing and hoard as much of it as you can. Even if it's generic, it helps with your final combines.


If you want to consolidate, then you should examine the resource tree carefully. For example - I recently examined several inorganics and chose to heavily mine a metal that is SLIGHTLY less potent (overall expermental efficiency) than a gemstone... the reason for this is that metal can be used where a schematic calls for inorganic OR metal, so that covers me for BECs and CRDMs, but it also covers me for SDSs.


All in all, here's what I want to mine: The best Organic I can find regardless of that type it is, the best METAL I can find, the best FIBERPLAST I can find (preferably tatooinian), the best WATER i can find (perferably Talusian). These four things I will hoard in as much quantity as I can get. If I find any of the 8 special ingredients that are exceptional, I will yank ALL of my harvesters and suck up as much of that one resource as I possibly can until it shifts(granted, i'm on Lowca - we've only had 2 shifts). I watch the bazaar and check the quality on any Avian meat or Herbivore meat, and if I see anything good, I contact the owner and beg to buy their entire inventory.

Yes, he hinted at it, but the other missing ingredient needed by Doctors is high qualtity Avian Meat. Most Scouts seem to focus on Bone and Hide, so Avian Meat is in demand.

Actually those qualities are supposed to no longer be a "generally" thing in the new patch. The new patch is suposed to narrow it down to only needing exactly those three qualities. 66% base on OQ, with 33% PE (for effectiveness) or 33% UT (for charges and ease of use).
