So I decided it was time to get myself a droid with some medical skills.

I picked up a deed for an R2 unit, Crafting Station upgrade, 110 healing ability etc.

From the radial Menu I selected "Tame" on the deed and there was my very own R2 unit - the start of a great relationship, or so I thought.

Within a few minutes all of his colourings had faded and he was a totally different colour - not a big problem, but is this common?

Next I felt "An R2 Unit" was a bit of a generic name, possibly time to give him a proper name, however I don't see any option to do this - am I missing something?

Last question (for now) we went somewhere quiet to meet one another for the first time and after I'd realised how to open his storage etc I decided it was time for him to follow me to the med centre.

Using the radial menu one more time I used the "Program" option and then "Follow Me" to which he displayed a ? above his head and stayed put.

In fact no matter what I ask the little git to do he simply displays a ? and that is it, he's going nowhere.

I crafted a couple of batteries and even selected the "Recharge" option but that seemed to do nothing either.

Can anybody tell me what I'm missing here?

1. Color thing is common.

2. To rename you have to teach it a different command 5 time in a row (I think it's 5) with the name you want in fron of command. example: "bob stay", "bob follow", etc. You can go back and redo the commands to whatever you want after the name sticks so you don't have to say the name each time.

3. The question mark was basically the droid waiting for you to teach it what the "Follow Me" command would be. You should see an "!" after it learns it successfully. After it learns the command just say, or yell for longer range whatever the command you taught it.

4. Batteries are only necessary when it needs recharged, (you will know when it doesn't listen to your commands and when it flashes "low power" over it's head.

Colors fade, though generally not in the first day. I am guess hte colors on R2s are still screwed.

Change the name by teaching 4 commands with the name you want in front, ie:

Artoo follow

Artoo stay

Artoo guard

Artoo selfdestruct

The question make is the droid waiting for you to SAY the above listed commands. Also if the command you try to give it is invalid you will get the question mark.

Also when you can't craft advanced components or experiment you need to add a battery. Also goes with wound healing not working. It wont display a message to add a battery - it just won't work.

Actually when you cannot heal and your droid is out, you will get a message "you must be in a camp or near a surgical droid" and a "low power" will display above the droid
