Am i supposed to hunt and harvest critters to get my avian meat for enh d? My god! i just made master doc and now i will ahve to go out and hunt like some marksman. What the hell are the devs thinking?

what criters do i need to harvest to get this stuff. i hear people constantly spamming for it ig.

I think the Perleks on Lok are a good source of Avian meat, havent been there in a while.

And if you think doctors are bad about trying to get resources... dont ever play a combat medic.

Honestly, it's all about making certain professions actually needed in game. So it fits well. Just keep your eyes open in the med center and everywhere else for any one with a ranger tag... or even a BH.. (cause they have master scout, or a CH with hunting IV) If you know of good avian on your server, and this will take some recon, set up a contract for avian meat with them at a specified price. It takes a little interaction, a little work, but you don't have to go get it yourself, and a ranger with all his hunting bonuses can get it MUCH faster than you can. If you're a master, offer to hunt with him and buff and rez him while hunting if he offers you a reduced price on everything he collects while you're hunting with him. Things can be worked out. It just takes a little work and some creativity.

Post on the Rifleman board, and one the scout and Ranger boards. We all hunt and collect. Before I started Doctor I hunted for another Master Doc. Works well...

Also remember that a little avian meat goes a long ways... what do you end up getting on an enhance D? About 1.5 charges per unit of avian meat. So even at 20 cpu, if it's good quality, it's not that great of a burden.

I hear ya Balton!! I play a master doc on bloodfin also and i tried to buy 18k herb. I quoted him 250k for it all. It had a OQ 945 i think and a PE 115 i think. EH said " no way, i will take nothing less than 750k!!!!!" LOL as you may have quessed my response, " What are ya smoking!!! and what ever it is, better share"

I would love to be able to harvest my own kills i just need like 30 extra skill points. Master doc, master pistoleer with Artisan 0001 takes every ppoint i got. i got a good guild so meat usually isn't a prob for me but i still would love to have the ability to harvest

Yeah, pricing and availability are what make me hunt it myself. It's VERY difficult to find 7K of good avian meat, period. I'd love to hook up with a ranger, but I'm rarely on the forums - this is why we should have an IN-GAME yellow pages. They want money sinks? Gee, 1000 credits to be listed in the yellow pages in game for a month. I'd MUCH rather be crafting than hunting.
