I am missing something. I found a dead player and I went up to rez him. I clicked on the corpse and then tried to use my rez kit on the target. I got a message that I must be grouped or have consent. How does a corpse give consent for me to rez it? Or is there some other command I should use.

i had that happen to someone i was grouped with once, i had him type in /consent and then it let me res them but most of the time as long as your group up with that person it will let you bring them back. though don't forget about the timer now, you can't wait to long to bring them back or it will not allow you to do so it will tell you that this person can not be raised they have been dead to long.

yeah if you are not grouped with the corpse you have them type /consent <yourname>

The player gives consent because if they are dead buyt have not clones they can either target you can type /consent or they can tyr just typeing /consent <your_name>. That will allow you to Res them (if the timer hasn't run out or isn't bugged.)
