Thread: Correspondent Preparing to Swap Out [Updated]
It looks like it is time for me to step down as the Doctor Correspondent. I will be changing positions at the office in a couple of weeks and my free time to help out here on the forums will greatly diminish. Besides, it's about time for a fresh new voice to stand up for the Docs. 
I'm sure Thunderheart will head over here with all the details on how you can volunteer your time to help out all the Doctor's if you are interested in being a Correspondent. So if you are intersted I'm sure he'll give you all the details. (Or I'll find them out and post them, however he wants to do it.)
In the meantime I'll still be here for a couple of weeks (or they replace me, whichever) and I'll still be doing what I can for us onthe Correspondent forum. After that I'll still be around, just not making all of those ridiculous issues lists and voting threads. 
So prep those Correspondent resumes!
[Edit: After going through some possibilities with TH it looks like instead of just stepping downI will be swapping out. Traigus has graciously volunteered to step in as Doc Corre while I will move over into being the Medic Corre, since the Med Forums tend to get a lot less traffic than here. Hopefully that will give me a set of issues that I should be able to fit intomy schedule well enough. So I'll still be here but now in a different capacity and we'll get Traigus stepping in as Doc Corre, and he's already fully familiar with our issues and the the whole Corre process.
The switchover will likely occur on Monday. Thanks for all the support, everyone!]

Good luck to you Zarlor. You have been an excellent correspondent. I don't think anyone could ever fully take the place that you have held, and do such a fine job of it as you did.

Hate to see the, in my experience, best correspondent go :-/.Thanks for the work and time youve put in to making this proffession one of the best working. If the next correspondent are half as good we are really lucky.

Thanks, everyone. I'll still be around, though. Not going anywhere, just having to cut back some on the time I've dedicated to handling the issues and such on the forums. Plus there are plenty fo folks here who I'm sure could easily hadnle things as well or better than I, at any rate. They even ask us for reccomendations when we step down and truthfully I have a hard time naming anywone. Not because there aren't folks here I think would do a terrific job, but because there are so few folks I think wouldn't do a terrific job of it.
Most of the Docs are downright awesome when it comes down to it. (Have you ever been someplace like the BH forum? Eeek! ) So it's been a pleasure being the Corre here. Neve fear, though,I am quite certain that any of you could handle the job just fine if you wanted to do it. I'm pretty confident we'll be in good hands with whomever they pick.
