Thread: have a few questions regarding buffs.
hi, i was hoping someone could clarify a few things.
if i get buffed and then log out / crash will i still be buffed when i relog ( assuming i relog within ten minutes or so).
i got buffed yesterday ( not high quality master doctor buffs) , i then used powerboost of tka. when the powerboost wore of ( in approx 8 minutes) the buffs were gone as well. is this how its supposed to be or is it more likely that the buffs were of a crappy quality and just happened to wear of the same time as the powerboost.
assuming i buy enhance packs from a master doctor and i only wish to have the ability to use them on myself, what do i need from the doctor skill tree?

this is a known bug it was minimized but still it seems to reapear the only way to get rid of stuck timers is get killed and then revived to prevent decay.if you plan to do that get killed by same faction and group with the doctor or /consent before they kill you . if you /consent it's advisable to /unconsent aspecially if that person is known as oposite faction.

not sure about that bug maybe check tka forum. buffs have a fixed duration .still if your timers get stuck you can't be enhanced and have to be "reseted" by getting killed.

depending on med use if you want to use enhance d you need to get med use 4 so the minimum for packs experimented to 90 or less med use ;this would be 0/2/4/0 but preferably 0/4/4/0 for the bonus and ability to revive.doctor is a big burn of skillpoints which worth more than any money you may save.you do get some nice abilities such as healstate from novice,cure poisonfrom treatment speed 2 , and cure desease from wound treatment speed 4. doctor wastes a few advantages when going solo and is most efective in groups.

hi oegies, thanks for the reply. regarding my first question about logging/crashing i wasn't reffering to the bug which doesn't allow you to get buffed again. what i meant is that lets say i get buffed and then a minute later i need to log off. if i log back in ten to twenty minutes will my stats still be buffed, assuming the buff was the 2 to 3 hour duration type.
regarding my motivation to buff myself, it isn't to save the cost of buffing. my problem is that my timezone is +12 pacific standard time so it is often very difficult for my friends and i to find someone who is selling buffs. a couple of weeks ago that would not have bothered me but now that i have been getting buffed very frequently i cant imagine running around with my puny default ham
also just wondering what the risks are if i give an opposing faction member / consent, since i gave a rebel master doc /consent (and then did not unconsent) a few days back because of the buffing bug you mentioned above.
