Thread: ABECS for Enhance Packs
I mastered doctor a couple of days ago and have been buying things like enhance packs and stims till I had the necessairy resources of my own to make decent quality components.
My question is this:
Should I be putting my experimental points into getting higher charges or higher power for buffs?
From what I read in the FAQ it suggests putting ABEC experimentation points into charges but the example its referring to is Stims so I'm confused as to whether I should be aiming for the highest power with buffs.
The resources I'm using is:
Lokian Wild Wheat: DR 976 FL 583 PE 354 OQ 995
Tat Fibreplast: DR 503 Mall 53 OQ 963 SR 808 UT 804
Appreciate any help/advice you guys can give me
Thanks!
Charges, charges, charges! I know I used stims as an example in the FAQ, but I never, ever, make a BEC that is focused on power rather than charges- it's just not worth it.
With the resources you have listed, you can probably make a BEC with over 20 charges on it (or awfully close to that number). With that, you'll have enhancement packs that have nearly 30 charges on them - that's awesome. If you decided you wanted to go power, your enhancement packs will have about 10 more points of power (equating to an average of a paltryextra 20 points per buff) but about 10 less charges.
Go charges on BEC's! Always!
Thanks alot for that, I was experementing with making power and then charge ones and noticed the power is so low in BECs but just had to be sure.
Thanks alot again ![]()
Made an enhance pack, couldnt see any real difference - one "amazing success" had more effect on overall power. So I'm focussing on Charges again. You'd think with 2 or 3 of them in there they'd have a multiplier effect and be worth something. 50-60 more on base stat, 200-300 more on overall buff.

Nope, subcomponent stats DO NOT STACK when added to a final product, even if there are multiples of them. For example, 3 10/20 BEC's (charges/power) does not give you an additional 30 charges and 60 power to your enhancement pack. Rather, it gives you an additional 10 charges and 20 power.
