Thread: Does the avian really make _that_ much difference?
Number 1:
ABEC 17/17
CRDM 18
SDS 18
Avian: 906oq/936pe/906dr
Reactive: 970oq/877dr
This pack turned out at 800 power.
Number 2:
ABEC 17/17
CRDM 18
ASDS 71
Avian: 968oq/470pe/971dr
Reactive: 970oq/877dr
This turned out at 758 power.
Both were experimented with all great successes.
Now, the number 1 was made in a large factory run some weeks ago, the last one was made yesterday. They have somewhat the same duration, but that doesn't concern me at this moment.
I would think that 53 more power on the Advanced solid delivery shell would outweigh the poorer (but not _that_ bad) avian meat, but I guess I was wrong?
Anyone else find this to look kinda weird?

Okay here's what I made, two different enhance d's.

This looks right to me. For power, avian meat 1 is clearly better than avian meat 2. The formula for power is a straight-forward 66% OQ, 33% PE. Since reactive gas doesn't have PE, the entire PE content in the formula comes from the avian meat. The resulting formula is:
Avian OQ * 0.33 + Avian PE * 0.33 + Gas OQ * 0.33
Combo 1 = (906 + 936 + 970)/3 = 937.3 (93.73% of ideal)
Combo 2 = (968 + 470 + 970)/3 = 802.7 (80.27% of ideal)
The difference between the two packs was 42 power, but the ASDD alone in pack 2 accounted for a 53 point difference. So it looks to me like the difference between a 93.7%combo and an 80.3%combo is around 95 power. This sounds about right. We don't understand the ins and outs of enhance pack crafting (duration and power being on the same experimentation line produces some odd results), but it very clear that avian meat 1 is the better meat, despite the lower OQ.
I would say that the ASDD is making a big difference, but the PE on combo 2 is killing you.
