Yes, that is how we do it. The problem lies in the fact that to get Survey I, you have to spend 15 points in artisan. And almost every doctor I know of HAS to do this, we cannot buy the resources we need.
There is a petition to have a limited form of Medical Survey replace the skill Medical Forage, so we can do a very limited survey with no sampling in order not to spend 15+ points in a class we won't need.
yeah kinda pointless to drop a medium or heavy harvester on top of 92% spot and find out its only 100 or 200 oq item.
best betis to be able to change medical forage to medical survey and sample ONLY 1 unit per 20secs
to just be able to examine a resouce to make sure its a viable resource to place a harvester on
buts that just me, i could live with this setup to get rid of my artisan tree so i can survey currently.
DrKalder, it depends on how this correspondent thing works out. But if it DOES make a difference i will have a new list of issues up next week. This idea has long been a part of the listed solutions for the issue of /medforage on that list. My suggestion would be to make sure you look for when the new list is posted (no later than Tuesday, I promise) and then make sure you list that item in your Top 5 vote. That will ensure it gets sent to the Devs and hopefully we will see a response on it.

I really like that idea. Oh to dream that they would implement it.
Oh how i'd love it if they made medical forage == surveying.. just think about it.. with 100 medical forage it'd be like having survey 4....
oo.. ahh... hm.. i doubt that would ever happen tho....................
