Thread: New Doctor has two questions

Looked through the issues and forum and didn't see these directly addressed, so:

1) I made my first Enhance Health and Wound A packs yesterday. Tried them on myself and nothing happened. Tried them again and again, nothing. No charge used, no message, no buff. Tried them from my inventory and on my toolbar. I see there are a lot of bugs listed with Enhance packs, but didn't see this as one of them.

2) When I became a novice doctor I got some odd, obscure ability which seems to indicate that I can register or list myself on something, somewhere? It had that moving hotkey icon that I grew to hate in beta that indicates they haven't assigned it an icon yet. Is this something new that hasn't been fully activated?

In order to actually use the enhance medication you need wound treatment II

From the Top 5 Issues list : "And finally, Enhance A packs can be made at a lower skill ability than Advanced Wound Treatment and are given a low enough med use requirement that most Doctors will have no problem trying to make and use one as soon as they acquire the ability to do so. Unfortunately trying to use the packs without Advanced Wound Treatment means that they do not work, but they also do not give notification of why they do not work. This proves to be very confusing to many new Doctors. Same for Cure Poison Statepack."

You have to have the /healenhance command before you can use the packs. I believe this is in Advanced Wound Treatment Speed.

I'm not sure about the register command -- as I understand it, it means that you can register that the med center is "manned" and people can check that on the planetary map. Not frequenting the med center, I haven't had an opportunity to test it.

Here's a tip: Master ID doesn't take a lot of skillpoints. Argue about the
time it takes to stat migrate, and I'll introduce you to where all my other
points are.

Its not. Cure poison is advanced wound treatment speed. Its advanced wound treatment (ie, II).

Thanks, Migosh. I raised those at the same time, so I always forget what came where.
