Is that what you got when you view the new terminal in the medcenter/hospital?

Hmm.. what it SOUNDS like it does (and I noticed it but have yet to use it) is marks the med center as "manned" when you are in it. That way when I'm hanging out on Talus or any other "low med pop" planet I can "advertise" to everyone I'm "in the house."

Though if someone can test this before me (since I won't be able to log on for a while due to work) it'd be nice to know.

If you open up the planetary map and look at the med center listing, each city with a med center has an icon next to the name. The icon is a crescent if the med center is "unmanned", and a circle if a doc has used this command or the terminal. Moon and sun, maybe? If you leave the med center, the flag is automatically removed.

That's it, as far as I can tell. I didn't think to check my /who info after setting the flag, but I'm guessing it doesn't change or anything. Worth a look, though.

I've used it and it works fine. You enter the med center and hit the command (it's in the ctrl-A) list. and now on the planetary map under med centers yours will have a * before it. When you leave it automatically turns it off.

Now if only they'd thought to tell the players about it. They copied and pasted the three week old test center notes as the patch notes and so a bunch of stuff isn't in there.

So I guessed right, it's only a little mark on the Cntrl-V map eh? Nothing on the Cntrl-M map that people use in town?

Oh well, it's a start.

We need a big flag with a flashy medical symbol waving in the breeze outside the door.

Nobody is going to take the time to look at a planetary map. If you're in the city, you just run over there and check. if it's empty, people shout for medics and I start getting tells.

If you're not in the city, chances are that whatever the status is at the time you check the map will change by the time you get there anyway.

If marking it as manned put a mark on the overhead map, that would be something quite useful too.

I looked for this terminal in the medical center I was in and couldn't find one.

Someone slap me upside the head with a Clue by Four?
