I am currently using kits with 4.29 tool effectiveness. How much better can I get and what is the best class to ask? I have asked several master armorsmiths/master artisans and they can't seem to get any higher then 4.0

I have 3 that are 11.03 or so. They were made by an artisan friend before the patch. He was a Novice Tailor with just a couple of Tailor skill boxes at the time. I had two others that someone made that were "tricked out", but they were only-4 efficiency after the patch.

I have two tool kits at 12.36. My Master artisan friend and I figured out that a 13 is the highest one can get (we believe). My Personal Crafting station in my house is -1.26 though. ![]()

I think the range on crafters is -15 (0% effectiveness) to 15 (top quality materials, experimented to 100%).

max tookit is 15
max craft station is 30 (with all the subcomponents experimented high).. 15 without.
Beware a lot of craft stations are made out of real trash -10.07's seem to be very common =/
My 97% crafted food kits are 14.31 ...

What does a high effective toolkit/crafting station do?
Or.. what's the difference between a -12 and a +12 crafting tool?
All mine are in the -5ish, but I have no huge problems with crit failures on combines or experimentation.
