Thread: A mind healing fix that would completely and totaly balance mind damage with other pool dmg...
i have thought long and hard about this completely absurd unhealable mind damage problem and i came up with a solution. while it may nto seem all thet practical or maybe too hard to implement. it doesnt hurt to try. so without further ado. my idea:
gives us another pool
wth! you say another pool!?
yes. we could calli the healing pool.
everyone would have it and it would be the same size for everyone say 800 or so
using stims would use this pool instead of the mind pool
medics would get skill mods making their healing pool (HP) use more efficient
Docs would get mods making their pool bigger
and thats it
problem fixed
stims would be made to heal mind just like the other 2 pools
and we would have a wonderful balance in battles where mind damage would not be the deciding factor
so what do u think?
oops i forgot
this pool would not allow people without medical use skill to heal, for people without medical use skill. this pool would mean nothing and could be toggled on/off in the misc. options liek the onscreen WP monitior.
also,
this pool would be undamageable
but would be affected by battle fatigue either directly (ie. BF acts like healing pool wounds)
or indirectly (ie. HP use efficiency would be lowered)
this would keep Ents from losing any business due to docs healing midn because now BF healing is more important than before
aargh!

healing poolregen rate would also be a skill mod given to medics/doctors
