Thread: Decay and Meds?

Does anyone around here know how decay will effect the enormous amouts of meds we need to carry on us? We already are getting something of a bone with the insurance menu (at only 50 items, I just know my blaster will be a juggling act to get insured), and I'm curious if a death will delete my crate of enhance packs?

Why'd you bump that? It's not like it would have dissapeared in a few hours and you need to give some of us time to get back to you to respond.![]()
At any rate, some preliminary suggestions are that meds and resources are not affected at all by decay. (Although presumably if they did decay then if they reached 0 they would disappear.) I certainly hope that holds to be true, butI cannot confirm it yet.

How would they decay though, from what I've seen they don't have an attribute taht would be the decay amount. Blasters and armor have a condition value, which I wouls assume is what is used in their decay. Granted I never would pay attention to the value on meds though, its just not important at the moment.
If they don't have a condition, will thedecay effect the charges or effectiveness instead? If so you will see a lot of upset Doctors. We have trouble paying for resources/harvestors/factories to get them made at times, and now insuring the stacks of stims and other equipment for a run into the field will ruin any chance of making money as a casualy player.

I'm pretty sure that most everything has a condition value. Traigus told me that he remembers a time in Beta when decay would affect some items in that they simply would not work at all if they were not at 1000 condition. Let's hope that's not the case. So much testing I have to do....
