Even with our new "enhancemetns" you are not going to be able to SOLO things in this game.
The buffs are all SHORT TERM (less then 20 minutes, give or take) and increase (10% or so) HEALTH, HEALTH REGEN, ACTION, ACTION REGEN...
There are smaller (less then 10 or 5 minute) "enhancements" that can be "stacked" on top of the 'crafted' buffs...
All in all... Crappy and useless. However, have a Doc with you in the FIELD! and you can last FOREVER if you can out-damage the Doc's HEALS!
(If a doc heals you for greater damage then you are doing to the MOB, then the MOB attacks the doc! -Thanks SOE for Fing up my game!)
At Dr4334, mixed 'Improved' injections and non, using 800 power enhancers for nutrients (health) and endorphines (sp, SOE error, not mine...) I get +10% health and realth regen, Action and action regen. I cannot find serotonin enhancers. I see 40 minutes per buff, and use my own buffs as a timer for the group. When mine go down, I call a hold. The group finishes the mob we have, I rebuff the group, then we carry on.
I have TK4344 as my combat class, and I solo. Slower than before CU, and being very careful to pull one at a time, and keep Center of Being up constanly along with Power Boost. I've gained 2 boxes of TK and one of medical in the last 24 hours alone. 2 single incaps, 1 clone (it was a lousy group that still thought zerging was an ok 'tactic')
No, we can't triple our pools anymore, nor hit fantastic regen rates. but if you're careful, it can still be a load of fun. I still miss crafting ![]()
- Health by 10%
- Health regeneration by 10%
- Action by 10%
- Action regeneration by 10%
- Combat speed by 40 points
Only the duration on these buffs gets longer with increasing doc skills, the power is 10% at Medic 4000 (where you get the first health buff) and still is 10% at master doc.
I personally dont notice the health and action buffs, the regeneration buffs are somewhat useful, and the combat speed increase is great as long as you are limited by weapon speed and not by special cooldown time. If you have an elite combat mastery, you will be limited by your special cooldown times most of the time, though.
You can still solo, but it takes longer than in a group, so you miss out on xp big time (everybody scoring at least one hit on a critter gets full xp, no xp division among group members anymore). If you want to solo, you should look that you have good KD and combat speed slowdown attacks so you avoid getting hit too often.
I need to do more tests to see how each part works but using bivoli, a med droid, my old med clothes, and the enhancers my buffs where converted to instead of the 'magic' button the time of my nutrient and endorphine buffs are up to 52 minutes (40 minutes using nothing but the skill button), I cant remember the time on the seritonin, 45-50 minutes, and around 17 minutes on the adrenal boost.
All are usefull to players if they don't have to wait too long to get them, if they have to wait to get the buff its not worth it because by the time the team is out hunting again half the buff has expired. To be useful I think the time on them needs to be 2 hours. If they gave us 2 hours we would have a service that at least some players would want.
To me adrenal boost is the most useful, I am not sure how player speed and weapon speed play into the formula for this buff but when I am using it my timers seem to reset almost twice as fast. The down side of this is you can deplete your action pool twice as fast so you have to watch that.

Don't listen to the people who say that health buffs are useless. They're just bitter that their invulnerability buffs were taken away. Health buffs are more geared towards buffing people for PvP. In PvP a simple 10% buff can decide whether you're the winner or not. With all things being equal in PvP, the smart player who is doctor buffed will win all the time.
Adrenaline Boost is the best of the buffs. It increases your combat speed by 40. If you're not a Master Rifleman this buff is immensely useful. I find that my template is substantially less effective without it.
I'm a MCombat Medic, Doctor 4004, BH 0404, and I've got great multiple heals that heal for 700+, and with the adrenaline boost I can fire off a rifle for an average of 1700+ damage rather quickly.
