I've just come back after a 6 month time out and now i'm completely and utterly lost with this CU. My temp pre CU was MSwords/Mdoc and i used to like just going crazy and killing all and nothing especially GDK's but now with the CU i don't have a clue, could you kind ppl please help this lost and tortured sole

Umm play the game...Don't spam, and whatever you use to do pre-CU (ie agro 50 critters/npcs)don't do it.

I think that about sums it up.

i don't know ask for a simple bit of advice and get spammed, all i'm wondering is, is doc worth keeping or not?

In my opinion, yes....until you start down the Jedi Path - then maybe....depends on the kind of character you want to develop. But be prepared to go out in to hunting parties as that is the only way you will get any Med XP.

Depends why you're a doc.

If you want to make money from buffs and healing - no.

If you want to be able to fight and heal and buff and have fun and group - yes.

Ex-Combat Healer from Hell, FistFighter, Pokemon Trainer and Guntoter

hardest thing for me was to wait for the cooldown period of certain attacks and learning which attacks to use in combonation. also, figuring out how to respec my toon.. and currently Master Doc/TKM/Master Brawler.. dropping the master brawler to get nov seords though..there is soo much that has changed (as you can see) that youessentially have to learn the game from scratch.. there really is no soloing anymore.. though there are some templates that say they can..grouping is pretty much a must anymore...

what server are you on?? i would be happy to group with you if you are Eclipse..

If you like to play a powerful support role in a group, then yes, doctor is worth keeping.
If you like to heal people for the sake of helping others as your sole reward, then yes, doctor is worth keeping.

If you like to play doctor because you think it will give you invulnerability buffs, then no, you should move on.
If you like to play doctor because you think it's a moneymaker, then no, you should move on.

If you like to solo creatures that are 10 levels above you and con purple, then no, you should move on to a new game or just simply find friends.

Irregardless if you are a doctor or not, in the new system you will not be able to solo the nastiest of the nastiest of mobs.
