Which would be more effective for solo play, I don't have enough points to test as of yet with my respec. I basically need something that will allow me to heal myself effectively in pve and pvp, something other then stim d.
As a side benefit of going novice doc, it looks like I will get heal wounds, but it says if I have the requisite skill. What does requisite skill mean, will it be useless at novice levels?
Thank you, I will test it out for myself if I can get enough points in 2 weeks, but in case I don't I have this info to go back on

Probably the CM for self-healing in combat. Taking the novice medic trees for both CM and Doc will help you with that, too.
Wound heals can be done by other docs when you find them, or overnighting in a medcenter. At Master Doc, wound healing is only like 40pts per shot, so I doubt Novice is much worse then that.

Novice doc heals around 10-32 wounds depending on bf.
