Is there a maximum amount of exp you can get on a kill with the new system? Like lets say I took my friend out and he sat there and took dmg from a CL80 creature until I ran out of mind and then we killed it... would I get a TON of experience or what? Little confused on how it works. Thx in advance.

It's based on your Combat Level. I wish I had more info, but I've been a lvl 80 since we switched.

You get a certain amount of xp based on the level of the opponent. Let us say your groupkills a lvl 80 animal worth 6000 xp. If you never hurt the animal but healed a group mate ONCE you get 6000 healing xp. If you only hurt the animal ONCE and never healed you will get 6000 weapon xp and 600 combat xp. If you heal several times or shoot several times doesn't matter. The xp is 6000. If you both shoot and heal the xp will be divided between weapons and healing xp.

What he said. But in addition, the xp you can get per kill is capped by your combat level. So a lvl 1 cannot just join a lvl 80 hunting group, do one shot at a lvl 80 enemy and get 3 or 4 boxes for one kill. From my experience, the cap for a lvl 60 is somewhere around 6.5k.
