Am I able to use buffs that are higher than my Med-use? If I can it will just nerf the mount and durration right?

Nope, that is why I have to sink 3 points of experimentation into "Ease of Use" to keep my D lvl Buffs at a Med Use of 90.

At least the Devs where nice enough to give us the ability to lower the Med Use of our medications.

Depends on what you mean by use. You won't be able to perform a buff with those packs yourself, but you can be buffed by those packs if a Doc with a high enough Med Use does the buffing.

I plan to be a doctor, but not master it. I plan to get to 0440, and with that I will have a total of 80 med use. Will I still be able to use Med Use +90 buff packs? Is there any way I can boost my med use without being a master doctor?

Thanks

No Way to up med use through attachments, even though there are some floating around.

With 0440 you will have a 90 med use, not 80 so you will be able to use 90 med use buff packs.

As the use if thevarying stims don't seem to be down to an ability or skill like heal enhance or cure poison, then am I to presume that if you just had the 3rd tree on medic leaving you with +40 meduse then would that let you use any stim with a meduse of 40 or lower? Say if a Stim D was meduse 40 then would you we able to use that with said skills? And say if somehow you got a stim E to be meduse 40 or lower would you be able to use that to? Or is there a hidden 'certification' in medic/doctor that only lets you use certain stims with either med/master med/doc/master doc? Sorry for all the questions, I've just been in one of those moods the past few days, any help would be appreciated

I believe all stims/wounds packs, rez kits, etc, have a certain pre-specified med use value. Therefore, you'll need medical use of, say, 40 to use stim d's, and a med use of 50 to use stim e's (I'm totally making up these numbers). I don't think there's such thing as a lower med use stim e, stim d, etc. You get the higher certification by climbing the medical use tree.

Does that answer you question?

Stim E's can be brought down to 40 med use pretty easily. I think the ones I make start out at 42 med use or something like that. There are no hidden certs for stimpacks, all you need is the proper medicine use. Disease and poisons cures, plus buffing, and using fire blankets all require you to have certain doctor skills to use though.

Great, that's what I thought but just wanted to get it confirmed, cheers
