Thread: Maximum buff or Duration?

As a combat class (commando here) I dont seem to notice a big difference once the buff gets above 2200. The real kicker for me is duration. I would happily pay more for buffs that hit for 2200 instead of 2400, but lasted for an extra 45 minutes or even longer. What is the consensus from the Doctor community? Do you find that people would rather more powerful buffs that last 2:45. or weaker ones that last 3.5 hours?

It depends I guess. For some things I'd rather havemore power knowing that I will either die or stop playing before the buffs are done anyway, sometimes I prefer duration... But again I can hardly do the same thing for 3 hours without getting bored anyway.

For them power-grinders and such, or perhaps if you're hunting some big-game (krayts) or doing a fun dungeon, I'd obviously go with duration. For PvP, people probably would go for higher power...even though they don't matter much since we're not the ones that buff mind, the sacred empty pool

No forced interaction (in an MMORPG?), but hey, the expansions sure seem forced.
