Thread: Any macro for recharging the droids?

This would be a big help. I know one person on my server that has this but he will not tell me. =P

Can you not put the battery in the toolbar and just click it when you need to (never tried it, just thought about it now).
If it works, all you need is to figure out the timedelay you need between recharges, write a macro that says something like: "droid needs recgharge in 30sec", and then 30sec later it clicks the right button in the toolbar... that way you have 30 sec to target the droid

Will not work because the Default action with bateries is "EXAMINE" All that will happen is the examine screen will open up

My guess would be this. Now, I'm not sure because I've never tried it before, but it's worth a shot. My guess would be that, even though the default action for batteries is to examine, if you had something targeted that could use it, it should work just to click on it in the toolbar.
So, here's my macro guess. First of all, make sure that you are grouped with your droid
/ui action target group0 (targets droid)
/ui action toolbarSlot00 (toolbarslot where battery is)
My guess is this should work. But, I haven't tried it as of yet.

I didn't think it was that hard to just check him every once in a while. Are you an AFK doctor?

Goodthing to do is to tell people to get a power droid. If they want good buffs, charge the droid with your PD. Even better thing is if you have an alt that you can log with a power droid and just give it the command in a macro to recharge the droid. As far as i know you cant make a macro to use a battery on a droid unless you use a 3rd party program which is not allowed in this game. Hope this was of help to you.

Yeah you got me on that one. I guess I'm too lazy to read the sig. The waypoint should have been a giveaway.
