Best you can do is kill alot of mid to high level NPC's and hope to get a good attachment. You might get lucky and get one from a treasure chest or locked container as well. I wouldn't hold my breath though

I've been going through this same process, since even +1 tapes go for over 600k pretty often on Ahazi.

It appears that the tapes are on the generic random loot drop table at a very rare rate. Kill 1000 meatlumps or swoop gangersand maybe one +1 med experimentation SEA will drop. Any humanoid NPC has a chance to drop one, it's just a matter of killing enough of them.

For truly good tapes (+5 and over), you will need to kill the high level humanoid NPCs. They'll still be very rare though, and high levelMoBs may takea lot longer to kill.I've settled on just trying for a few low level ones...

Im rebel,and i go hunt the weapons factory on naboo. Since there ive come across 6 tapes that either give bonuses to CM or Doc. Granted, ve spent alot of time there, and very rarely do I get what Im looking for, but they seem to drop decent to good loot(other skill tapes), and i dont complaon because of the faction points im racking up.
