Master Doc here that has dumped my artisan skills for a combat skill. I choose TKA just because I understand it's effective and I'm new to combat. I headed out to the Janta cave in hopes of getting some Janta blood and ran into a rockshaper near the entrance to the cave with 100% kinetic resist. Needless to say I couldn't touch him. Luckily he didn't agro me on the way down, but by the time I finished the bottom, I had -5K jantaa faction, so he aggroed me on the way out. He chased me for 1.6Km!
Is there always a 100% kinetic resist guy there to keep solo TKA like me away? Personally I think it's kinda cheesy that my character can't have 100% resist, but certain mobs can. He didn't hit for much, so he was more of an annoyance than anything else.
Sorry ifany ofyou thinkthis is off topic. I figured fellow doctors would have some experience with the Janta cave due to the blood drops.
By the way, I cleared the entire cave and got 1 janta blood sample. Is that about what I should expect for all that work?

There's always a Janta rockshaper in there yes, I understand the new DWB VK does heat damage though, so if you get one of those you'll be able to take him no problem (I'm swordsman and my power hammer makes light work of everything in the cave - Mokk rockshapers are 100% kinetic/blast resist though, this whole idea of cavemen being 100% resistant to explosive weapons seems more than dubious to me).
As an indication of drops, I've cleared the cave about a dozen times and got 1 drop of 2 Janta blood and a drop of 3 Janta blood.

I should just scamper on down to the DWB and pick me up one of those heat VKs. I hear it's a piece of cake! 
Actually, I heard the heat VKs were removed due to balance issures. Now that I'm halfway through TKA, it soundls like I should have picked swordsman. 
I wonder if it would work if I drew him a little way from the cave,Dizzy/KD him, then ran back in. I wonder how far I'd have to draw him away to lose the agrro.

The DWB VK is not in the game now. Supposed to come out with the Combat Rebalance. Some of them got through but they will not work. Check out the TKA forums for more info.

hehe luckily he is vuln to my batton.
i cleared it twice past 24h (i think ill camp it next few days) and got one drop of 2 bloods 110 power. got lotsa mind dot knives lol too.

He's easy to get by here's my trick:
1)park bike outside the cave entrace
2)kill all entry jantas
3)have the stone cutter follow you. He'll only follow up to a point b/c the number of enemy's that can attack you seems bugged only to 6-8 in this cave. So he just leaves.
4)Clear out the cave
5)Just walk/burst run past him and hop onto you bike.
Voila you got it.
Now on pick ups it's random for me. I either get nothing the whole way through or good picks. I usually get 157pwr janta blood when running through there.

Considering the cave is on a spawn timer, you'd have much better luck getting blood from missions. Go to the mining outpost, join a large solo group (to get like 80+ difficulty missions), and kill as many janta shamen missions you can. They are like 27k, or 31k in an improved job market. Lots of cash, and much better odds of getting blood.

Yes, that 100% kinetic resist is tough.. any chance you could pick up a bit of nov marksman and use a rep blaster on him?

i've been able to slide by him a couple of times by keeping to the far wall away from him LOL .... or i bring my rifle friend with me

Congrats on the loot of Janta blood. I'm on the Flurry server and have cleared the caves too many times to mention and have not once looted a Janta blood. I'm going to take the advice of pulling Janta missions and see what happens - if anyone else has good advice on how to loot more Janta blood please let me know.

well i never once got blood from missions and i would say i have done about25 of them.

I usually get a couple blood each round of missions (doing them for a 2 or 3 hours period), and plenty of credits to buy any more I need. Get in solo groups, ask to buy the 100/10 blood for 15k a jar or whatever, you'll likely get a lot of takers. People are there for the credits (31k Mokk or Janta missions), so let them know they can make even more money by taking Janta missions instead of Mokk and sell the blood to you.
