its gotta go down. Avain meat is not even worth 100cpu let alone 400cpu,Doctors that Craft.

MaybeFellow Crafting Doctorsshould hire people to get avain meat. Not go with the regular group of everyone trying to make their worth and pikeing up the price. Whitch the excusses are.."well there are Soo many Doctors that want the best avain meat" that cracks me up,so how much money whould you get off 100cpu? gee..and your priceing it at 400cpu? sounds like Doctors are notthe only ones makeing millions fast when they work hard on something people think is easy right? anyways..i don't craft but that does not mean i don't think its crazy

This is not meant to flame,i'm just Agreeing with all the doctors that thinks its crazy, and trying to give advise

why dont you go harvest some of that corellian avian meat off of the Rasps (4 units maybe) and the carrion's (8-11 units) thats why some of the avian has gone to 300-400 cpu. Go gather enough of that to make a run of say50 buff sets, a full run, now what is that 8k-9k meat, go gather that then come back here.

You need to offer a lot to make it worth it in most cases. Even dathomir avian at 100 cpu is not worth it much compared to running janta missions in the same time.

Sorry but not havinga combat professionis not anybody else's problem, I am a doc and I know how hard it is to get resources! The current spawn of avian on my server is the best ever I believe (not sure here) and you can make some great packs with it. If you cant afford it go hunt it, if you cant hunt it, we should now start selling some of the best stuff atleast ina long time for chump change?

It really makes life much easier if you do invest points in some combat skills and novice scout when thebest avian meat is around.

Back when a 964 OQ 955 PE avian meat spawned on Lok on my server, I spent 1 hour every morning before work harvesting it from perlek missions with novice scout and novice carbineer, plus some more time on weekends. During the time it was available, this was enough to gather 28k units of avian meat. I am now free to put my skill points elsewhere, and I don't have to worry about the price of avian meat ever again.

why even bother buying it?

I have MF as my compliment to MD, when there is good meat i go get my mates and we go to where ever, they give me all the meat they harvest.. why? cos i buff them for free all the time. Its no skin of their back, and for one evening of fun with your mates you have a tonne of meat.. more than enough to last.

i even have they collecting and giving me the meat for free.. i cantravel to what ever planet they are on to buff them, and to say hi. they appreciate this and in return im rewarded...

Sure thats fine! then the doctors buffs keep on going up untill it reaches 20k-40k!

A set of buffs lasts better than 2 hours. A combat toon worth a stitch could rake in 100k in that time. Right now 10-15k per buff session is norm but the market could endure a spike of 20-40k easy.

Sure hunting it yourself is an option if you want 28k :/

What about doctors like me who NEED 140k of avian per shift (at least).

No way can I hunt that by myself and go to my real life job.

If 900/900 avian spawns on Bria soon, you better bet your but I'm starting the price at 150cpu, easy.

Time for the defence of Rangers/Scouts.

We arn't the ones jacking up the prices, I used to sell good avian meat for 60 cpu, I thought I was ripping docs off at the time. However its the guys makeing the buffpacks who're increasing the prices (Im not complaining harvesting meat from blue cons was boreing as sin), they're the ones that are trying to out do the other docs and gain as much of the meat as possible before it shifts.

But also 400 cpu for good avian meats is peanuts for what you make. Seriously if you don't like the prices, don't pay it, grab the scout harvest line, and then realise that it's just not feasable to get enough.

And to be fair it takes 32 hours a weekend of constant harvesting of carrion spats to get 5k avian, if I sell that at 175 cpu that equates to just over 1 million credits. Yet if I run Janta missions on Dant I can make more than that in 3 hours.

Don't get me wrong it's brilliant cash for newbies but they soon realise that they're getting screwed over themselves they go do something else.

This isn't a flame but as it is doctors make a fortune and the buffpack makers can afford the price to keep up with their constant production, but as always its the small Docs that get screwed over.

I am a doctor, a scout, and the owner of a resource vendor, so I see all sides of this one.

Doctor: I buy all my meds, being the world's worst crafter. The prices are high, in terms of raw credits, but doable, considering the necessity of the medicines. I don't buff for money but if I did I could still double or even triple my money with every set of packs, so I'd say the prices are in balance.

Scout: I have made millions and millions of credits harvesting and reselling organics in this game. However, these days I hardly bother. Even with two 900 stat avian meats on my server, it takes so long to find and harvest the tiny, rare creatures that drop it, and they yield so few units, that it's not worth my time. I have a regular buyer for 100cpu, another for 125 cpu, and could probably auction it for 250cpu + if I hold it for a while, but it would take forever to get a meaningful amount.

Resource vendor. I sell every unit of decent stat organics I can get my grubby paws on. Even the crap stuff gets bought by BE's or people grinding . Even with the holos dying out people will always be leveling doctor, chef, armorsmith, BE, whatever, and will always need cheap meat/hide. The premium stuff flies off the vendor at whatever price I put on it.

All of that combines to keep the price high. It's simple supply and demand.

What I'm really waiting for is a high stat meat on Naboo or Lok. 20-30 units per creature and I'll slaughter them all day long and sit on it for six months until a long dry spell kicks in. 400 cpu here I come.

solution to taht is fet to know a master ranger and hook him/her up with buffs and then bring up organics most i know will sell it cheap if you make it worth there while
