I am going to go on a mini trip for 4 days. If i pick my plant up, will it stop growing? I dont want it dying while I am gone. Does anyone know? I would hate for it to die, just because I wanna go somewhere for a few days.

in theory it won't, you'd expect it to behave the same as a candle in that sense, but you never know. just try it and hope for the best

I put mine in a backpack for a couple of days when I couldn't get in-game for a short time. It didn't change status at all while in the backpack and I was gone so hopefully that means it doesn't update if it's inside a container.

I'm fairly certain that the plant is in stasis while in your backpack. I waited over a week before I initially placed the plant in my house, and the whole time it was in my backpack it did not change status.

Yup you can, it goes into "stasis" when you pick it up. You could also just put it in a private house for that time. It only updates when it's loaded into the world.

The plant is a reward during the healing quest in Phase 1 of the Village.
Is it pretty? /shrug. It looks like a giant green calla lily.

Hmm, once it reaches stage 2, would it go back to stage one if left for long enough?

Yeah it does
Mine died Funny thing is when it died it turns to this black leaf in the pot and says "Dead" on it, but after a day or two like that it actually disappeared completely.

Yes, shame there isn't a wider variety of stages to its growth so you have something different to look at every now and then

So if it dies then you can never get another one unless you pay someone else a rediculous price for theirs, right? If so, then that kind of sucks. After it is fully grown do you still need to care for it all the time or does it become just a normal decoration?
