Hi there.

I just made Doc (yay:smileyvery-happy.

I am looking for a guide to the profession, telling me how to heal DOT, bleeds, diseaseect.

I can find alot of 'holo guides' but no guide telling me what macros are good, what specials that work well - and not so well, How to be most effective in combat, what stims are bestect.

Hope there is a guide out there somewhere, or somone will post some helpfull tips here.

Thanks

I don't think there is anything that detailed. If you checked the above FAQ in the sticky section, then you have what is available. Otherwise, run a search on what you are looking for. I know there have been several threads on Dizzy heal macros and the like.

So my recommendation is to run some seaches and if you can find what you are looking for, start new threads asking.

Good luck and congrats on getting DOC!

couple of tips I can offer you.

What i typically have avliable to use on me. A wound set (all 6 wound packs), a buff set, cure poison and disease, 2 stim's out of the crate, with a crate in my backpack, and a rez kit. I don't typically carry state packs as its mostly pointless to apply them, because you'll get the state back almost instantly. If any, I'd carry dizzy state to help out friends.

I have the following on my toolbar. Heal damage. A macro for /healdamage self. Cure poison and disease, first aid, and revive player.

I have 3 droid with storage, one being my med droid. I carry crates of wounds, buffs, cure poison and disease on the droids, along with batteries, droid repair kits, armor and weapon repair kits.

I then have another toolbar setup for downtime medical practices. It has my buff macro, heal wound, diagnose, heal damage. This is many for buff/wound healing between combat.

I used to carry a complete set of wound packs, but never used anything but action and health. Now they're collecting dust in my chem lab.
