Thread: Phase 4 Healing .... Anyone got tips?

Hey hey!
Can anyone offer advice or tips for this quest of phase 4? I've read the guides, but not sure if healing 50 people is still accurate or what post-CU.
Any help is appreciated.

Umm...ive heard that you dont need to group...but anyay, get in a group, in case that is wrong, and just infusion people. Was in a group of 8 and got my cerdit for 100 heals in sith fights (50 for quest, 50 for reward) in one attack. You wont see how many you have, so dont worry, and keep healing, it shouldnt take very long. If you ahve bacta spay, im sure that will speed it up even more.

Also, it's no longer 50 different people.....I believe it's heal during 50 different encounters.

I just did that quest this week.
It was hard to keep track of how the credit was given, for each heal;
There is a lot of chaos going on while the sith are attacking.
But "as far as it seemed" ....
The credit was assigned under the same rules as XP
-ya just gotta get credit for the kill
One reason it is hard to be "sure", is that the quest journal (or at least mine) did not keep track for me.
In my opinion, this is a bug.
But regardless, it seems like the amount of credit I got was based on the # of kills I got credit for.
As long as your not Xp-capped, you'll be able to tell when you get a credit for another heal, when you get an XP message.
If you are capped, then sell some first.
When I was there, (it took hours) there was always some guy /shouting "I am not getting any XP!"
Those guys were always either solo, or in the smaller group.
If you go during off-hours, like really early in the morning, then you'l have a better chance of getting in a reasonably full group.
Also, If there are at least 2 full groups competing for kills, each will take turns screwing the other out of XP.
-This, imo, was poor planning on SOE's part.
Also. the sith go for more than 70 minutes between when the last sith dies, and when the next wave starts.
-usually.
And the south gate sees most of the action, from what I saw.
Also, I had 80 kills when I checked-in
and I only had to do 20 more to get the Bacta Tank.
This means that the kills 'past 50', and 'before you report back in', are not wasted.
Though I had to do 2 and a half sith waves to get 100.
It is theoretically possible to get 100 in one wave, but it seems very unlikely.
The least it would 'probably' take is 2 waves of sith.
So probly about 2 hours of your time, min.
Also, in the desperate struggle for kills, several group members will split up;
They wont be worried about your heal-credit.
In fact, forget about /tell /shout or even /g ....
no one will respond "no matter what" while the sith are attacking.
So if you have the skills, or the pts. to spare, get some ranged medicine.
-especially spray.
Most guys there can take a hit, and there wont be much damage to heal, before each sith dies.
And you won't always be able to anticipate who to stand near.
Lastly, if anyone else'sexperience was different, feel free to share.
This was just how it went for me.

It is possible to get above 100..I did 247 healing instances according to the droid on Saturday.
I just stand in the middle of my group and area heal....

First off you have to be in a group, I did healing at first not in group and I got no credit, in the group I got the credit.
If you have bacta shot then use that, it seemed to give me credit when I used it but nocredit usingbacta jab, I don't know about bacta spray. I also found if I got on screen credit for the kill thenI didn't seem to get credit from Silverra for the heal.

I've done the healing quest on two different characters, once pre-Cu and one just after the CU (it was the last days of respec I believe).
Both times I've finished the quest in one spawn and pre-CU I basically just nuked area heal. post-CU I mixed bacta spray with bacta toss, it worked like a charm.

Two spawns, healed people in my group, out of my group, used every different heal I had. Didn't finish the quest.

It took me two rounds of Sith, but my first round I didn't use my bacta spray. I am a ham watcher, so I stuck like glue to the ranger/carbineer in my group who drew the most agro. If you run infuse on a ranged person who is doing the "tab, attack" thing and drawing tons of agro, I am sure you will get your unlock

got 203 heals counted when went back to villiage they should have given me a second bacta tank
