Thread: Been gone a while, make sure my info is right please

I'm a Master Medic, Master Doc.
I left right about the time the CU hit, and I knew there were changes coming.
I should have spent just a bit more time using up the last buffs I had, about 2 sets worth, good stuff too. Oh well.
I spent most of my time in the med centers healing wounds, so I had lots of wound packs.
I used to craft my own wound packs, and occasionally stim b or c, but no buffs.
Mastered Doc with mostly wound heals, and very few tumble heals, and crafting by mostly atk macro grinding.
My buffs have changed to 800eff nutrient and endorphine enhancers, wound packs became 100/300eff bacta toss enhancers.
Something changed to 250eff disinfect and stabilizer enhancers, as I've a couple of those. I'm guessing poison and disease cure packs.
We no longer require meds, but we can use various bacta enhancers to increase the amount of hp we heal.
As a Master Doc, I can buff +10% to health, action, and mind, with some regen for each, for about 40 minutes with no meds.
Using an enhancer (the 800eff ones that got converted) adds about 5 minutes to the buff length.
Using a higher power enhancer (that BE now makes?) the added time is more than 5 minutes?
Im guessing the disinfect and stabilizer enhancers basically work the same, and add a few minutes to the duration.
Bacta shot is pretty good, but short range heal, say 5M or less.
Bacta toss is a decent heal rate, with medium healing range, guessing like 10-15M.
Bacta spray is short range group heal.
Bacta jab is low heal, short range?
Bacta infusion is short range healing over time, about 175-300 per second for 5 seconds?
No med xp in med centers, only healing someone that is fighting.
This is the most fubar part. I know the tumble grinding was bad, but let us have wound healing xp in med centers. They're called Medical Centers for a reason.
Healing a PC more than they are damaging a npc makes the npc hate you more and attack you.
CMs and Jedi can do, more or less, all of the same functions I can do, but also have combat abilities that I don't. (I have marksman 0201, and scout 1010, so I'm basically worthless in combat)
I'm getting this from the faq's and stickies, anything I'm missing?
So basically, I need to trash my nutrient and endorphine ehancers as they really aren't much good.
Are the 100eff and 300eff bacta toss enhancers and 250eff disinfect and stabalizer enhancers poor/ok/good?
I'm not doing Jedi, so I don't really care about XP.
It's looking basically like Doc is more or less obsolete, and I should either drop to Master Doc/Medic 4440 and get an elite combat profession, drop all medical skills and get 2 elite combat professions, or delete the character.
As I said, this is an alt, and I already have a combat character.
I was planning on Doc/Musician, but eventually dropped Musician before i left anyway.

looks pretty accurate.. Big thing about MD is that we can rez. I have contemplated dropping MDa few times but as you can see in my sig... i have not.. i find that i am almost invaluable in a group that has no jedi and even wanted in those groups that do have jedi. MD can still rock, just have to change your thoughts about what we do. If you want to tank MPCs and not group much, then you need good healing. If you want to become a Jedi killer, go CM with pike and swords... these last 2 have become the dmg dealers that TKM once was. Get your packs made (if you are on eclipse, look me up) so that you don't have to worry about loosing SPs on BE.....

Other than the distances, you seem to pretty darn accurate. I didn't see any other glaring errors. But basically, the only uber 1337 profs are MBH and Jedi . . . the rest are just pretty good. I see a lot of MBH/CM combos. I also see a lot of the Rifles/Pistols/Carbines/Melee that pick up some of the Doc or CM skills . . . usually CM for the offensive states. SWG has basically turned into MBH vs Jedi and the other profs are dying out quickly. I see armorsmiths and weaponsmiths taking special orders only because they do not have time to stock vendors anymore. Entertainers are basically worthless, if it wasn't for the inspiration buff that lasts for 3 hours.

Thanks for the confirmations.
Rather sad, as being a Doc was something I enjoyed. Now he's worthless to me.
I have a combat character, I made this one non-combat for a reason.
The game was a bit unbalanced, but it could have been fixed.
We didn't need this complete overhaul bs.
A Doctor is a Doctor, not a damn Combat Medic, we already have one of those.
I have no idea why the devs think everyone wants to be ubercombatdude.
There used to be so much diversity and now it's gone.
I've packed up this characters belongings into storage.
I've still got the respec available so maybe I'll figure out something to do with him besides sell off all his stuff and give credits to newbies.
