Out today with kaimei doing NPC BH missions and decided to try some Bacta Infuse enhancers being Mdoc and all the good news over 300 tick on a 1k power enhancer so damage was getting healed faster than it was being caused, luvverly, the bad news?
O.k, when using the enhancer with my mark targetted I get "Invalid target" so have to untarget him to use it but because he's attacking me I keep auto targetting him, after some experimentation with some guildmates it seems the same counts for PvP PvE Duels and Jedi attack PvP.
Now if I use the /bactainfusion self trick I can't use the enhancer.
Just curious if any other docs are experiencing this in PvE/PvP scenarios?

I ran into this as a Combat Medic using Enhancers against NPC BH Marks, really huts when you have to target your self to heal with something other than Bacta Spray. I guess you could toss up a macro that you set up to target self, switch to a pane, use the enhancer and switch back to the main pane. I think it is a waste, but something that could be vital when in combat.

hey dwolf, how is that master bounty hunter / master doc template? it sounds like a great build to me, but some in the bh forum were saying it doesn't pack enough power. seems to me if you had the speed buff up all the time you would be allright.

Try putting the enhancer in a toolbar slot and write the macro to access what's in that slot to heal self instead?
You're first comment threw me for a sec...our names being so similar and all.

I was a M. Doc/M. BH for a while. With that build your very hard to take down. The buffs do add to your speed (at the time it was +40).
The down sides are:
Poor accuracy so you miss a lot and even when you do land a hit it will use the min on your weapon so it does not hit for much. The drink that adds to acc does not last long so it is hard to counter this short coming.
The armor type for BH and Doc does not have good Energy resist. At the time I only 4k resist and there wasn't armorbreak slicing so I was take a ton of damage. As a result you spend much of the fight healing. Now with better armor and sliced for armorbreak this may not be the case.
The other down side is you dont have a root shot.

In answer to the first question..
Do a bactainfusion macro.
I don't have the enhancers but I do use one with the jab enhancers frequently
My CURRENT (before enhancer) macro is
/target self;
/bactaInfusion;
/pause 30;
/macro bacta;
now for my bactaJab macro... I can't remember the exact thing.. but its something like..
/target self;
/ui action toolbarSlot 11;
and the last slot i have my bactajab enhancer. Generally I have the macro in my "F2" spot with the enhancer in my F12 spot. You can also put it on the second row. but i wouldn't suggest putting it on another toolbar to call.

/tar self;
/ui action toolbarSlot 09;
/pause 0.2;
/ui action toolbarSlot 09;
/pause 0.2;
/tar (name of jedi)
this macro works good but down side is that you have to edit it for every duel/mark and dose not work in open pvp

/ui action cycleTargetPrev
This allows you to re-target the enemy after the macro ends

Let me know if that actually works for you. I was trying it last night as it doesn't seem to work anymore. I'm guessing they took it out because it let you AFK loot things you had killed already.

Meh, I use the FPS keymap. Pressing F1 to target myself is second nature to me now.
