I was a CM/DOC before the CU. When the CU came, I dropped both out of frustration because Iost the abilty to craft my meds and poisons, and all the ones I had, became worthless in the new system..

Well I worked my way back to MCM after missing it too much, and I am now Master Pistols with it. I am however considering the move back to MCM/MDOC and my question is this.... Is it still a great template to have, post CU? Will I be able to solo anything with it, and run missions? Is Doc needed anymore like it used to in PvP to cure poisons etc, The 2 together made for a wonderful healing tandem, but post CU I have no expierience with it, a I took advantage of the respec and left it, before I gave it a try.

So if you are a mcm/mdoc how do you like it? and how do the 2 professions work together now? And will it limit me to what I can and cannot do. Before the cu I could just stack poisons and "kite" it that still possible? With doc in the template? or am I better off keeping pistols?

Thank you for any input you may havem and for answering any of my questions

I've played Doc/CM since june last year up until very recently. In the CU I added pistoleer 0004 to it instead of Master Medic. This template I consider 100% suport. However with some accuracy tapes, a good fwgand the doc speed buff I could solo pretty much anything although it takes a while.

Pre CU I loved this template because I could as a single healer guide groups of 20 down to the dw overlord without much problem, as long as I was dedicated. Now, a while in the CU, I find it fairly boring. Everyone involved in high end pve have self healing abilities so don't expect to do much healing. I generally work as crowd control with root and paralyse, which can be pretty useful but not worth 250 sp.

I wouldn't recommend this template right now because there isn't much to do. If you want to solo anything, pick CM and a ranged combat profession. If you want to heal and be suport in a group pick Doctor and TKM. I just cancelled my doc / cm account to play other characters.

This is a great Support Template for group PVP.
