..with the all the complaints about this horrible patch I've seen lots of complaints about healing AT-STs (**NOT** what this post is about) but haven't seen anything about healing regular faction pets (both rebel and imperial humanoid pets--Storm troopers, specforce troops,etc).



This issue particularly hit last night when I tried to run some of the new more difficult missions opened up to me now that Mission Difficulty is determined by group. As a Master Doc/Master CM without a group/pets I can only get low level missions worth about 800-1000 creds. With 3 human faction pets, a probot and a cowardly gurreck pet I was able to get some level 50 missions worth about 5k. The only problem I ran into, however, is that my poor pets get a pounding since I can't heal them (everyone except the gurreck).



I was still losing humanoid faction pets to level 35ish missions (I'd only group with 2 faction pets, pickup missions and then group the rest of them). So while I was making decent money I was steadily LOSING faction points having to replace these pets.



Did I miss any dev response to this issue in the current flood of unhappy peoples' posts about this patch?

Uh, so WE don't want it, and YOU don't want it in for PvP--then why is it still there??

Wait. You cannotheal your humanoid faction pets?


My understanding was that those should be healable and the last thread I saw on this, while stating all faction pets, actually only delineated the inability to heal an AT-ST. I'm pretty sure even that Q's post clarifying the issue stated that non-mechanical faction pets should be healable just fine. Does anyone else have any non-mechanical faction pets they can provide verification for this on?

Right. Last night on Talus while my pets where taking hits (3 Swamp Troopers and my Cowardly Gurreck) I could not heal my Troopers. Even trying to AoE heal my Gurreck would not heal the Troopers. No Stim Ds, no Ranged Stim Ds, and no AoE C packs would work on them. AoE healing myself wouldn't heal anything around me either (but I think I've read that as a known issue). I don't even remember getting any error message, nor did I notice if a charge got used or not but I'll try some different things tonight and report anything else I can find out on it.

Uh, so WE don't want it, and YOU don't want it in for PvP--then why is it still there??
