yesterday someone wanted me to enhance them for 3k (half the price i ask for usually) and this person got all buffs around 1000-1100 and 1 stat was 2200 and one 1500. i was asking " did they nerf this?"

an hour later I went to corelia to dismantle my harvesters. a well known trader i know from the forum offered me 10k for full enhance in the starport. we missed the shuttle by a few seconds and there it goes. 2000+, 2000+, 1700~,1800~,2000+,850 (which proves you can't win them all) . she was fairly impressed by them.

funny coincidance? or does lady luck like good tippers?

Well my highest enhances so far has been 29xx, but after the patch, I have noticed a SHARP decline in the number of enhances over 2k. I have not changed anything (in fact, my enhances have gotten a little bit better) but now 75% of my enhances are below 2k, whereas 75% used to be above 2k before. I still do get that oddball one thatI enhance for 2.5k+ all the way across, but this is the exception rather than the rule.

While wer'e noticing oddities, does anyone else have problems with enhances and food? I've noticed that if I eat food, then try to buff, it says I already have enhances, and if I buff, then eat food, the food only raises the "potential" value, so on my stats page, it looks something like this after two sunburns:

Health: 2760/2760

Strength: 2540/8540

Const: 2530/2530

Action: 2760/2760

Quick: 2530/2530

Stamina: 2540/8540

Fun!

It would be nice if it was in the code to do it this way. I could make some serious credits just standing at the Bounty Hunter terminal all day long. This is how my business transactions can go:

Dr. Buff: "Greetings Mr Uber KillerMan, would you like some buffs?"

BH: "Sure, how much are they?"

Dr. Buff: "You get what you pay for."

Uber KillerMan tips you 100000 credits

You enhance Uber KillerMan's Health by 13752

You enhance Uber KillerMan's Action by 15348

You enhance Uber KillerMan'sConstitution by 11493

You enhance Uber KillerMan'sStrength by 17864

You enhance Uber KillerMan'sStamina by 13412

You enhance Uber KillerMan'sQuickness by 10548

Dr. Buff: "Thank you for you business and tell your friends"

Uber KillerMan bows before the almighty Dr. Buff

I like how this can work, maybe we should make it a suggestion. The same thing can go for entertaining healing (I have a lot of entertainer friends). I can tell all my customers that the Lord of the Code likes good karma.

This post patch crappy enhances stuff has to stop. I've been enhancing the same post patch, and I hit 2 2900+ enhances just today.

I also crafted, JUST TODAY, not from old schematics, buff packs just as powerful as my old ones to test out your theories.

I think everyone needs to take a step back and realize that maybe not EVERYTHING is nerfed in a patch

Do you buff in a med center with your droid out? Perhaps your droid ran out of batteries, meaning you lost the 110% bonus without any verbal identification of it.

Just a thought, because I was still getting 2200s from my 690 levelpacks last night.

The cheapsakegot LevelB/C enhances, while the highroller got Level D's. Great idea!

Ok, I just created some Enhanced D's and ran an experiment on myself.

Droid - 110%

6. Health - (804) - buff = 2622

5. Action - (917) - buff = 1566

1. Stamina - (714) - buff = 1537

2. Strength - (764) - buff = 2790

3. Quickness - (805) - buff = 1554

4. Constitution - (793) - buff = 1530

I don't have any tests that I ran before the latest patch. But, I know I was getting a lot better buffs than these. I know I had a few action/health buffs above the 3k mark, netting 4k for the individual. I saw someone selling buffs in front of the starport in Theed with a guarantee of over 2k for each buff. I politely told him that he was full of it as there is no way to guarantee it. Now, it looks as though our buffs might have been nerfed. I will run more tests before yelling, screaming and kicking for an explanation.

Good day,

6. Health - (804) - buff = 2622 296%

5. Action - (917) - buff = 1566 155%

1. Stamina - (714) - buff = 1537 195%

2. Strength - (764) - buff = 2790 331%

3. Quickness - (805) - buff = 1554 175%

4. Constitution - (793) - buff = 1530 175%

Compensated for the 110 droid
Average 230%
Max 331%
Min 155%

Compared to my test of 40 buffs as a Master Doc,
Average 195%
Max 298%
Min 106%

You've gotten well above the level on all of those, suggesting that the bar has been raised. I've never gotten a high a buff as you got from your Strength pack. I didn't even think it was possible. And the only one you have that I would expect you could get 3k from would be the action, and you just nailed an average one with it. Of course, with your strength result, maybe 3ks were falling off trees for you. Do you have skill tapes? Because you're beating the crap out of me (fully qualified MD with no wounds)in all categories.

Ok, just did a real buff on someone (Dathomir).

Same buffs as above:

Strength - 2472

Stamina - 1042

Constitution - 2885

Health - 1694

Action - 3336

Quickness - 915

He was wearing Chitin armor with no wounds. His total action was 4273 after that buff. I wish I could guarantee that all the time...but it's soooo random.

Time inbetween buffs was long enough for the "you are now ready to heal more wounds" to appear.

If you look in the Doctor Issues for October entry here on the Doctor forums.. you'll see that they are trying to level out the great variance in the amounts on buffs... you'll get less of the very large ones now... but most will be middle of the road. Least that's what they were talking about... didn't know they implemented it. Check out the post.

I'm totally jealous that you're getting 330% buffs. Do you have skill tapes or some other increase to your wound healing?

And I can't believe you thought you were nerfed.
