I'm a Novice Doctor with no faction points, I have never even fired a weapon.
When I try to treat certain players I get this message: "it is unwise for you to treat this patient"
and then I'm unable to treat the player.
What does this mean, and is there a way to treat the player anyway? Some players have even gotten angry
with me because they think I'm lying.
Thanks

The patient has a 'Temporary Enemy Flag' (TEF) from attacking someone from the opposing faction.
This doesn't show to anyone but the person with the TEF, and makes so you cannot apply your
treatment to that patient until the TEF disapears.

You get that message when you try to heal or otherwise use any type of medicine on a member of the opposite faction who is declared(overt).
If you are rebel you cannot heal overt imperials and vice versa.

Oh sorry, you're unfactioned... I didnt read it right ![]()
What he said
they must be TEF'd from attacking npc's or another player.

I have had this happen to me twice now with 2 different players. I didnt know why at first.
Well it turns out both were Jedi's. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Unfactioned people can't heal overt players either.
When a jedi is seen using his powers he gets a TEF and that will stop you from being able to heal him.

It'd be nice for the Healing player to over-ride this command. With a big ole warning stating that you will be attackable by PvP playersif you heal this patient.
How can they say what's unwise? Maybe I like being unwise! Gimme the choice!
