I just recently made a new character and mastered doctor. Now, I am completely new to the whole finding the best resources thing. I did master doc on my other toon but that was for a holo so I mastered then dropped. So my question if you guys dont mind helping me out is, what resources will I need to make good buffs and where can I buy/mine/harvest them? Thanks a bunch guys.

The FAQ here on the forum is decent, and these guys have a great site too: http://www.iootnega.com/doctor/faq.asp

Also, check out their resources by Galaxy pages, they update directly from swgcraft.com and the resource database there.

But, to answer your question more directly, you want:

Dolovite Iron and Domesticated Oats

Class 4 Petrofuel and Herbivore Meat

Tatooine Fiberplas and Lokian Wild Wheat

Talusian Water Vapor and Dantooine Berry Fruit

Avian Meat and Reactive Gas (Buff Packs!!!)

Gather/Buy all these resources to make the best stuff. And it HAS to have high OQ, PE, DR and UT.

Basicly you can ignore all other stats but these (for the sub-components&buff packs):

Dolovite Iron OQ + Domesticated Oats OQ/PE
Class 4 Liquid Petro fuel OQ/PE + Herbivore Meat OQ/PE
Tatooine Fiberplast OQ/UT + Lokian Wild Wheat OQ/PE
Talusian Water Vapor OQ + Dantooine Berry Fruit OQ/PE
Avian Meat OQ/PE/DR + Reactive Gas OQ/DR

You can only experiment on power on the sub-components except for biological effect controller (both power&charges in that). When experimenting on Power it's usually 66% OQ 33% PE that matters. For charges it's 66% OQ 33% PE and for the buff duration it's 60% DR 40% OQ. (only the avian meat&reactive gas matter on this) The power/charges of sub-components are just added to final production. It doesn't affect the experimentation phase of the final production in anyway. For the Lokian Wild Wheat I suggest you ignore the PE as it's best to go for charges in Biological Effect Controller.

Swgcraft.com is great to check out the resources. You can even put the experimentation values (66% OQ + 33% PE or so) there and it gives you list of the resources you can use in quality order. Swgcreatures.com is wonderful when you need to know what animal gives that herbivore/avian meat. Hope this helps
