I travel to a player city, to spend some money. I buy 5 crafter aprons, bringing 1 million revenue into it. On my trip home, I run up to the shuttle port, buy my ticket, and set my shuttle macro, so I dont have to stare at the screen waiting.

I come back to screen after 2 mins, to find out, "You have been banned from using this cities services"

I check back through the message log and see someone has said,

"Hey can you buff me?"

"Hey I said can you buff me!"

"F$%# you, you can walk then"

Nicely done, after spending 1 million in his town, I would have to walk to it, in order to spend again.

Really makes you love being a doctor with people like this around.

Bah! What an *ish-head!! You didn't want to go back there anyway, if that is how they run things. Who lets stupid people like this run their city anyway?? I say let it fly!! I like the attention and the power.

Stuff like this doesn't bother me. You have toPWN your title. Don't take any crap, you are a distinguished proffessor of Med, and you have the tag to prove it. People will learn to be nicer to doc's, or they will run out of doc's, and then........ no buffs.

That's the most childish thing I've heard, what pre-teen was given city militia... You could've /denyservice him to give him a hint. I hate it when I log in I have the "Master Doctor" title up when I always take it down or change it to something else, they need to fix that bug because I've logged on infront of Theed spaceport unknowingly I had the title up and got flooded with /tells when I didn't have enough charges on my buffpacks.

Citybanning someone to get their attenion is the lowest thing I've heard of.

I have stopped buffing the public after getting so many rude people a day, i do not buff overts and i kept getting tells from people saying if i don't want to buff overts then i should go neutral or rebel. Then i get people harassing me for buffs saying it's my duty to buff at all times, but my tag is bugged to my head and will not remove even after i change it so much

I would flat out report this person. What a childish, stupid thing to do.

I would alsopost the name of the player city here. I'm sure we would all be willing to boycott it until this person is evicted from the city.

Damn what an a-hole! It's things like this thatkeep my title hidden from others, it's sad that a person would cityban you because he was upset that you weren't saying anything to him and giving him what he wanted. Yeah, I'd post it up on your servers forums and see what others have to say, I mean talk about a bad citizen in that city

You can still take the shuttle. Cityban means you can't enter public structures or spend money. If you already had the ticket you can board the shuttle.

If you are afraid of a cityban, you can always buy a roundtrip ticket in there, to make sure youc an fly out.

You should have gone to the next city then told him you were somewhere completely different, that you were sorry but you didn't see his message, and you'd be happy to buff him if he could come to you. Then /addignore him. Let him travel and wait.

Don't let people run you off. Wear your tag if you want to. It's a great way to irritate the losers out there.

u know what, i DONT hate to be rude, i am a medical professer and not even a master, my buffs arent great but i have the right to deny u service if i dont like your eye color, its one of the few 'dev givin' rights' i don't care if u block, ban, evict, or spam slap at me, i am a Doc, and i deny u buffs if u over tip to skip, are overt, or i just dont like your attitde... I hate the fact that I cannot remove my title permanently. But just be aware of the behavior of the system. Whatever the last actual title you had up before you logged will be the title that comes up when you log back in. Thus, if you have up Master Doctor and set your title to None, when you log back in, it will be back to Master Doctor because that was the last actual title you used. On the other hand, if you change it to Novice Medic, when you log back in, you will be back to Novice Medic. So if you are going to drop your title and do not want to log back in with Master Doc, change it to Novice Medic (or whatever else you want), before you set it to None. Then the next time you log back in, it will be set to Novice Medic or whatever it is you did set.

You could even theoretically have a macro for quitting the game that change your title before logging you out. It would look something like this:

/changeCurrentSkillTitle science_medic_novice

/pause 3

/quit

This should change your title to Novice Medic then quit the game. You could substitute /logout for the /quit command, I believe. But using this macro to log you out would theoretically always bring you back into the game with Novice Medic as your title.
