Hello all, I have been a doc for a long while and wanted to know what the maximum amount of time was between death-blow and being able to resuscitate. I got a tell from a friend 4k away and went to rez him. When I got there...not more than 5-6 min. later, I was told the body had been dead for too long, I was not able to resuscitate. Has this timer always been in place? And why such a short timer at that? Ok, thanks folks

Timer has been broken since October. Some folks die and can be rezzed well over 10 minutes after death. Some folks will drop dead at your feet and you can't rez them...

My experience also.

Where did vortexala's post go? Or was it pulled from another thread?
Just curious...
And more on topic I have noticed a 2min - 15min timer (seemingly random). Never had a problem rezzing someone who just died.

Yes the timer is quite retarded.
Was in geo one time with quite a few guildies (I'm one of the main hunters in my guild, therefore I tag along for protection). Everything is going handy dandy until some acklay hunting **edit** bring the back half of the cave up to us. Rest of the group died about 2 mins before I did, and I was doing fine with 2 kwis and 2 alert droidekas on me....but then another 2 kliks and droid joined in my little party, making me quite dead. After immediately cloning I raced back to the cave and fought down to their bodies. They had been dead for less than 10 minutes and none could be revived.
Next day I travel cross-planet to rez a friend with no problems...SOE just hates docs.
What I would like to see is the quality of the rez kit affect the time in which someone can be revived after death, therefore making the packs themselves establish as the timer. Say one pack that is made with the crappiest of materials only gives you a 3 minutes rez window, while the best of the best give you a 30 minute rez window (timer gives an hour before you have to clone, what in the world were they planning when they put this in if not for rezzing?).
That's just my two cents on rezzing

I for one, would like to see this as one of our top issues...or at least on the list. I agree with your idea dejik, that seems like it would make perfect sense.

right now thats a HUGE loopwhole, i use my spare junk, my leftover and random assortments, just like a grinding junk for rezz packs and there just as good as the 'top of liners' that my guildies make, i sell them 1/2 the price, make twice as much, i compleatly agree with you 2.... I think that's an excellent idea. The timer is currently very dumb, and needs to be fixed somehow. This seems like an excellent solution.
