I am a Master Doc/Swordsman, and I have noticed since publish 9 went live, that during combat if i try to heal myself or others it take 3-5 seconds to work. I think it is probably related to the combat armor and weapons delays but should this effect heals as well. I think it does because all heals are now in the combat queue and as a result are effected by this new change. I personally don't mind the armor and weapon delay too much you just have to play smarter for the most part. But it this is going to effect healing rates as well it can't be a good thing. I know that the role of the medic/doctor has been somewhat hindered by the the whole buff situation, won't go into that, but some situations call for fast heal especially when you are fighting and you notice one of your guild mates needs a heal bad. You head over there as fast as you can then when you get there its almost too late because you have wait for the heal to take effect.
Please post if you have encountered this issue, I have already posted this to the Publish 9 live issue forum but I am curious about what my fellow docs have to say about this. Have you encountered it and have you been effected by this delay in anyway.

There is no longer delay than there always was.
It is a generel misconception after publish 9, but in fact nothing has changed in the combat healing. As someone else allready wrote, it is just now apparent in the combat qeue. Never, in my time in the game, has a doctor been able to cure, for example, 2 poisoned players right after one another. There has ALWAYS been a waiting period depending on your woundtreatment speed. Let me ask you this: Prior to the patch, were you able to buff all 6 stats in 6 seconds? Nope.
There is however a way to bring down the heal recovery time considerably. Havla. It is a food that will enable you to do the aformentioned buffing in 6 seconds. The only downside to it is that the havla only works for 22-24 uses. After that you are back to normal. I very rarely use it, because I like to keep the stomach filling free for other stuff. Such as bivoli, canape and what not.

I have noticed the delay. It's there only if you enter combat, clearing the que doesn't do much about the pause unless to can disengage via peace. If you stay true to the medic role and nothing attacks you there is no delay from the last publish, that I have noticed anyway. So in combat get that heal off a few sec before you used to, unless you and remain disengaged and in support.

No, I am not talking about heals outside of combat. I am talking about when you peace and are still being attacked, then try to use healdamage, healstate, heal poison, heal disease and there is a 3-5 sec pause before the initial heal, not subsequent heals. I am aware of the normal delays, and the existance of havela, I just noticed that when trying to heal during combat there is now a delay in the combat queue. I don't know if this is a result of the new system or some bug that was unintended I just think heals are now acting like switching a weapon. I just don't like this hesitation before i can save someone or my myself. And hopefully I am the only one this is effecting but I thought I would give my fellow docs a heads up incase this is a true problem. Could it be server delays maybe, but I never noticed them before. But now I get hit three for four times by the npc I am fighting waiting for my stim e's to kick in. That is something that never happened before to me. I even stopped using my heal micro to see if that was the problem, and nope the delay was still there.
If there are any CMs out there that are having similar problems since the Publish. Please let us know.
