I noticed when I hit CTRL + V that every player-made medical center shows the Sun Symbol as if there is an active doctor at every single one of them. This is misleading, especially based on the fact that the Knowledge Base says something along the lines of:
No Symbol: Nobody needs healing, and no doctors registered there.
Sun Symbol: Doctor registered there, regardless of whether or not he is healing damage, wounds, or buffing, or afk.
Moon Symbol: Somebody is within the building and needs healing, either of damage or wounds, and there is no doctor registered there.
(Please keep in mind, in case anybody reading this doesn't understand how registering works, that if a doctor in the medical centertypes /register, the registration is removed upon stepping outside of the building. This removal is done automatically by the server.)
That's the background. Here's the idea, simple as it may be:
Remove automatic Sun Symbol from player-made medical centers.
This idea is simple, but if somebody wants to set up shop near a particular hotspot, such as on an adventure planet or near the Hermit of Tatooine (not giving away where he is, but if you know, you know what I'm talking about), they can actually be shown as registered.
I know that I would be willing to do this, especially if it was my house and I was crafting while registered.
Maybe this is low on the 'importance' list, but I think the registration is a good idea, but currently flawed in practice. This is especially true on Corellia (at least on Radiant) where every NPC city has the Moon Symbol because there are at least 2 tumblers there who the system determines 'need healing.'
Any ideas to make this better, feel free. I am new to the game and even newer to the forums, but perhaps enough people like this that it could get added to the list of things to fix or something. I'd be happy then, heh.
Anyway, thanks for reading,

I find that not too many players actually use the player Med Centers, I think that there should be a slightly higher bonus for using them. I haven't actually looked in to this, but i have been told that City Medcenters have the same medical rating as centers in non-player cities. Most droids have a 110 rating, and i believe that even a 120 rating in player cities would get those cities used more. Im not a part of any city, but would join if I knew there was some type of bonus.
If there is a bonus, please let me know.... and disregard the above.

I happen to like the bonus of autoheal, like static cities with one minor difference. Player City Medical Centers also autoheal Battle Fatigue. Sure it's slow, but when there's no entertainers of any sort around, this can come in real handy. Not even the Player City Cantina will autoheal BF.
I also agree with giving Player City Medical Centers a bonus rating of 120. It would be good for Player City tourism and their economy.

I would like to see the medical rating changed as well. I feel the medical center should have the 110 rating and droids have 100 rating. It would make it where people would want to go to the medical center for the bonus, but still droids would be used because they would still want it out in the field and such, and 10 isn't THAT much of a difference where you'll get ignore it.
I do like that feature about player city medical centers auto heaing BF, a lot of people didn't know about that

It's all bugged to hell. I wish it were working, even as advertised. It would be nice to be able to quickly notice where you needed go and advertise that you are at a location so someone could come to you.

This has been suggested a few times already before, but hey, until it's fixed/improved, I'll bump the posts I see on this topic

Ya this has been beaten again and again and not a word from the powers that be. Personally I think leave the droid at 110 and up the med center to 115 solely because I hate nerfs in all of their manifestations.
Maybe we should all claim we're jedi...that would probably get the ball rolling quicker.

what if we ask to have a quest added, so we can unlock the force-sensitive slots of our med centers?
