So heres my idea... Which I only arrived at after being a killing machine...
I used to come to coronet and HATE HATE HATE standing in lines forever... I cant stand it for the life of me...
I am also a doctor so i thought I might start buffing. I a crapload of good packs (2436/3.1 Hours), made macros with 2 characters (2 comptuers). And started my VIP Express Line. Heres my reasons:
- Theres like always 2-4 other doctors buffing for less or the same stats for 10-14k so I dont force anyone to pay.
- Tons of people LOVE paying 25k to not have to stand in big lines
- I dont have as many noobs in my line since noobs wont pay 25k
- Tons of doctors charge 40k+ for "cue jump" or "line jump" to skip the lines. I simply previde a simalar service for cheaper.
- My line never gets longer than 5-7 people and it goes fast since I have 2 doctors (2 computers) buffing with a macro on each.
- I will never buff if Im the only doctor. I give people a choice, not rob them. If they want to pay less they can get the same (or similar buffs) from the doctor just to the left of me for half the price. They just have to stand in a line.
Conclusion. Yes, I make lots of money,but aside from my own personal greed I get so many people who praise me for providing this service. More repeat customers than I could name that tell me my idea rocks and that they hate standing in lines. So I win (more money), and the customers win ( they dont have to wait in line with the poor people, or people with tons of patience ). Im not your everyday buffer. I provide a convienience for the morewealthy/impatient players.
I just want feed back. Would you do this on your server? Do you like the idea.

From a customer standpoint, I would definately pay 25k if it could save me 10 minutes in a line. Time sinks aren't fun.

LexorD you rock! This is how it should be done, and there's no need to apologize for any of it, it's how business works.
I wouldnt' even worry about being the only doc in the area and charging that. In fact, that's even more reason to stick to the price, if someone doesn't want to or can't pay that, that they will have to go somewhere else. You'll still have lines and they will still be able to find a doc if they are anywhere in the general area of a starport.

Express VIP sounds like a great idea. In fact, I'm going to do it myself once I find resources to make 2400+ 3+ buffs!

I charge similar price when im on dantooine, players will pay 25k if it keeps them from haveing to shuttle to cornet and back and wait in line for 20 min. The average player saves almost 30 min by paying the higher price and they make 60k in 5 min so its not a big hit to them.

Good call. Although i'm not a buff bot, I tried buffing for 15k at Mining outpost on Dant with one other doctor there. My buffs were higher also 2600+ for 3.10-3.25 hrs but the amount of moaning tellsI recieved was not good. 
Mind you i didn't use the que jumping ploy.

As far as I am concerned.. just do it!
More power to you.. supply and demand will dictate how you do.. Sure you will get hate tells and whiners.. But having the option availble for others who do not want to wait in line is pretty good..

i would pay 25K for a good doctor and shorter line for sure, i hate the doctors selling 1800-2000 stat ones for 12K. I hardly sell buffs anymore, my reason being too much of a hassle from the rude bastards on kauri. Only time i ever make exceptions is when someone makes it worth my time to buff them, but i like your idea. Buffing for the higher society of the game.

good idea, I wish I had two systems I could run on instead of having to load my two characters on one (ooooh the lag..)..
I was slumming around outside the coronet cantina last night and someone asked if I could buff.. well, yes I -could-.. he then proceeds to tell me to wait a few minutes since he is going to clear his BF... okaay.. starting off a bit ruder than I like, especially since I haven't said I was GOING to buff..
So I am chatting with some guildmates, buffed one too actually and out comes the wannabe-customer...
Now a little preface, I dont like buffing the public.. I have a doc avatar simply to help out my main and my guildmates... buffing for cash doesn't really trip my trigger and so I generally dont do so.. but since I -am- grumpy and have fairly decent packs I set my prices accordingly... in this case my going price is 15k. normally on bria buffs are running for 10-15k depending on doc and such... but tending more towards the 10k end....
At any rate (as I ramble) I tell him my cost and he proceeds to argue how he normally pays 10-12k (not with me he doesn't) and that he can get an "imp doc in the starport" to buff him for 10k.. (yes we are both rebels yay!).. so I say fine, it isn't worth arguing with you over you getting a buff RIGHT NOW for 15k instead of waiting in line.. so no buff for you... and I wander off..
He then sends me /tells about how I saved him 5k by letting him go to the starport (lol) ...
5 minutes later he is trying to make nice with me again in /tell and asking for buffs... guess those "imp doctors in the starport" must have had a fairly decent line...
moral of the story, if you dont like my prices go somewhere else.. arguing with me is NOT going to get me to lower prices, on the contrary it WILL get a "no buff for joooo" from me... your desire to get a buff RIGHT NOW is less than my desire to NOT buff you, and the cash that you wave at me is my incentive to lean towards the buffing....

Note: Just to fuel my own greed/ego... I made about 6 million yesterday buffing. and hope to make the same today

Alright can all you guys come to my server when im buffing and tell off the people who call me names, say im a moron, make fun of my buisness and put me on their ignore list because i try to defend myself...
Its rediculous. I guess its the price I pay for making good money
