access the schematic slot to load a schematic you made (choose make schematic instead of prototype - u may need to craft at a craft station to get the make schematic option, cant remember)

Then open the input hopper & put in the ingredients - if u forget what they r u can see them by looking at the schematic ingredients options. Put in for as many as you want to make, ie you dont have to make all of your schematic at once - if it takes 500 of x resource to make 100 and you put in 250 you can only make 50.

Then start manufacturing & pray they really have fixed the factory bugs which have been eating up resources over the past week.

Finally, there is a buy where when use the remove schematic option the schematic isnt returned to your datapad so check to see if this is fixed before you redeed your factory if you want to keep that schematic. The workaround is to create a dud schematic and load it b4 u redeed as putting in a new one does return them to your datapad.

Yes, please, anyone. I am having the same problem. Also have the problem where the factory just stops for no reason. Any suggestions or guidlines from anyone would be appreciated.

This is a known issue - Factories will not currently accept factory crates in the input hopper. You have to uncrate the items and stick 'em in one at a time. When it runs out, stick more in. Annoying as heck, but it works.

I don't expect to see this fixed until they fix the "factory will create 100 items and then has to be redeeded or server reset before it will work again" bug.
