There is many talk of reducing the buffs.

I though that was a good idea when I heard of Combat Revamp because when armor is reduced and specials, Food, Entertainer, spices are revamped, and Mind is no longer special HAM, then buff and their effect also have to be changed to bring buff into balance.

But that WAS before.

What we are having is spot patch, not combat balance.

If armor is not changed
If specials, their damage, cost is not changed
And if mind is still special HAM
Then the change to Buff have no real meaningful change.

The Armor, specials, HAM, Food, Spice, Entertainer Buff and Doctor buff must all change together and balance with one another. Changing just one or some of these will do nothing but start the cycle of eternal "nerf/buff" cycle.

We've all seen this cycle before. Change are made to single part of several things that work together throwing whole system out of wack and it start to wobble. System tilt to one side, people complain/whine, it get louder and louder, Dev over compensate by making another change to other small part and wobbling doesn't get better.

Is the system working now?

No. It doesn't seem to be wobbling because every single one of them are so broken that system as whole doesn't seem to have any "graduality".

It must be fixed, and Buff along with everything else, but we as Doctors must watch to make sure that Dev don't just dump on one aspect like Armor, Buff or what have yous and start the nerf/love cycle that will last for months if not years.

As much as I would love the argument if the cycle start, I have my hand full with CM/Jedi/GCW to spent extra time with Doctor buffs so lets not get this one started.

Nope.

But just because you don't think you should have to test their busted a$$ code or give input so they don't break it any worse than it is, do you really wanna sit back and do nothing and watch it get worse?

It is as bad as I am willing to accept.

We've had better chance of preventing a bad idea from going live than trying to get Dev to fix it once it go live.

I have no objection to taking some time out to wor little bit to make my gaming experience better even if I am not getting paid.

You should DEFINATELY not do this if you are at home, but if you are at work and reading this forum, why not?
