I'm just starting to get into resources and droppin harvesters......I want to slowly build up good resources (when available) so I can start making stims, buff packs. I have nothing right now so I''m guessing it will take 2-4 months to acquire these resources and maybe even break down and buy some when I get close to having all the necessary ingredients... but .... question is,.... on Chilastra we have an 830 OQ spawn of dolovite iron, should I harvest or hold out for better stuff? It probably won't hurt to harvest it, but over the next couple of months should i expect somehting better or you never know?

Harvest it I'd say, on Infinity server that's better than any we've had for 4 or 5 months.

If better spawns, you can always sell it.

Harvest the crap out of it. Drop every harvester you can on it.

Why? Becuase dol iron does not spawn often and when it does it is often junk. 800+ dol is good enough. You will have many more option with the oats as they spawn more often. So getting a combo to hit 68+ on the ASDS will not be hard with the 800+ dol.

Harvest it, there hasn't been many better OQ spawns on my server..i've been resourcing since day 1.

I guess starsider is lucky since we got a spawn on Lok of OQ 920 for dolovite iron...hehe..I have 2 harvesters working on that bad boy...plus it's a 86% concentration..wohoo! I already have harvested over 31K in a couple of days. Probably have 2 times that since I haven't been to lok this week at all...

Lowca's last good spawn of Dolovite was OQ956. I have 1.4 million of it.

I say harvest the heck out of it, for the following:

1) Naritus went 3 months without a Dolovite spawn. Then, it spawned three times in a row without ever having an OQ higher than 144. Then it didn't spawn again. Then it spawned in the 200's. You can go a very long time without seeing decent Dolovite.

2) The difference between your Dolovite and the very best Dolovite possible (OQ1000) is only 3 points of power in the final product. THREE FREAKING POINTS!!!! And that's if you ever see dolovite with an OQ of 1000. So you're not missing out on very much.
