Hi.....i got a question.

Last night i had identical buff packs with 32 charges. Im doing great the buffs are hitting for about 2407 or somthing like that (im using bovilia and med clothing).

all off a sudden (some where when i have about 15 charges left) they are hitting for 2396. Now this isnt a big loss, but it does seem weird.

There all the sameand i hit for about 11 points lower. The food wasnt run out yet and nieghter was my clothing or anything.

Has some one els has this happen to him? or am i doing somthing wrong here?

Im just wondering. im not a master doc for long so iff some one could give me a hint or somthing that would be great

no slicing is not random there are things that affect slicing:
1) garanteed Increase of min. 1% up to max 35% (45% on armor).
customer: can you slice my weapon please.
Smuggler: sure i can.
2) the garanteed 0% increase.
customer: slice my weapon.
Smuggler: no.
so in short yes we do affect slices its called THE MOOD OF THE SMUGGLER!

Did you check to see if the person you were buffing had battle fatigue over 250?

Let me tell you my experiences with foods...

I normally buff with my +25 wound treatment/speed clothes on. My buffs generally hit 2185. I eat some bivoli, they shoot up to 2385. Wow, that's great I thought! Then I had a great line of people to buff coming in...After about the 5th one, I noticed my bivoli was about to run out...I thought to myself, well, I'll wait for the bivoli to run out, then eat some more and go along my way buffing people. Well, I did that. All of a sudden my buffs (with a new bivoli) went from 2385 down to 1980. The people I were buffing had NO BF. I was using the same buff packs that I had been hitting 2385 with. What's thedifference? Bivoli. I think it has one of 2 problems:

1) It has an unannounced downer effect to it that prevents you from eating it one after another (regardless of the stomack filling issue)

2) it's bugged now, along with some of the other doctor abilities (such as being able to constantly heal damage/state effects one after another with no delay counter)

I only use bivoli now when I buff myself with crappy packs (save the good ones for my customers) or Im just buffing a couple of people. I don't trust bivoli anymore.

Plus, I tried havla, which is supposed to make you be able to buff people really fast. I timed my time in between buffs so that I could compare it with after having eaten the havla. Well, my time WITHOUT havla was actually faster than the time buffing after having eaten havla. In short, I think Doc food is borked right now...but that's just my opinion......

I haven't been having problems with bivoli... and I have my buff macro set up to try and eat one just before each stat buffed to ensure I dont miss any with lower buffs..

As for havla, ignore the "you are now ready" message and just hit the stim again... I have a speed macro for buffing on havla that hits all 6 with a one second pause between.. I can clear two people in 15 seconds

I concur on the havla point of the prior poster. You simply need to ignore the system message that indicates that you are ready to buff again. In fact, my buff_with_havla macro has no pauses at all and it works just fine. The only delay is the animation delay which is built-in anyway with the natural command stacking. The only thing that hasn't been mentioned is that your havla needs to have a rating of +100 or greater to have any effect at all.

As to the bivoli issue, I haven't noticed any issue with bivoli use. However, I haven't been buffing outside Coronet for a while due to a decent avian spawn on my server at the moment. I do know that the numbers you listed would indicate to me that your patient has a BF just slightly over 250. Perform a /diagnose on the patient and you will be able to see his BF at the bottom of the list. You can even add a little blurb on your solicitation announcement indicating that patients should ensure their BF is under 250 before getting a buff.

Hope that helps clear things up...

while on Flurry, don't visit Ojes Yobe's Liquidation Vendors just 800M from Theed starport on Naboo (neg5219 3419) - cause they ain't there anymore! They are now exclusively located in Mos Athens Mall

Any chance at all that you were using two different bivoli's? The difference you describe sounds like the difference between using a +24 bivoli and a +25 bivoli.

The first bivoli I ever bought was +24. I knew, from iootnega, what my buffs should hit for, and was disappointed to see them hit for about 10 points less. Then I figured out my bivoli was +24.8, or something like that. I got +25 bivoli, and it started hitting for the full amount. So, for a period, I had both +24 and +25 bivoli in my inventory. And the difference was exactly within the range you describe.

Any way i first tought it was the BF too, but after examening people it wasnt becuase all the BF was at 0

in regards off the bivoli.....well i tought it was all the same but after hearing about the 24+ or 25+ im not sure. When i log back in im gonna check that right away, but still.......the diffrents you talked about where higher then 10 to 15 points, but im just gonna re-check everything.

oops i realy shoot read beter didnt seethe postfromBr JLa there

Well i hope it is the bivoli there. I dont mind the 10 to 15 points differnts there, but its kinda weird to say they all hit over 2400 just to find they hit for 2396 or so. Becuase what sounds beter hitting for 2300+ or hitting for 2400+

Any way thank you guys again for the help

That's funny. That was exactly my problem. With the +25 they hit for 2406, but with the +24 they hit for 2390-something. So it was the difference between being able to say they hit for 2400+, or having to say they hit for "around 2400".

and remember anything after the decimal in bivoli doesn't count.. so 24.99 bivoli is just 24 bivoli...
