Hi,

I am currently Doctor 0-4-4-2 and plan to get to 4-4-4-2, but I am wondering if Master Doctor is woth the extra two boxes on the crafting side? Or should I drop the crafting all together?

My buffs, using 869 power (which I bought), give stats of around 2100 but I have only buffed guild members, not started selling them yet.

But are buffs that much better being Master Doc?

Thanks in advance for your advice

IMHO, yes it is a profession worth mastering. You get a really nice bonus, can use better packs (just in case you find good ones that aren't meduse 90). The speed goes up a bit (I believe my buff macro uses /pause 15.5), the tag is nice too, since some people only search for master docs when looking to buy buffs.

Well this all really depends. Master doc is my favorite prof that I've done so far, and I get bored with profs VERY easily (mastered 14 without any holo grinding). If you REALLY need sp you can just drop the crafting tree and buy all your buffs. If you get some quality ones (lower than 880 doesn't cut it, even lower than 890 is a stretch for non-master) then you can just buff yourself and friends for 2200+ no problem. All just depends on what you wanna do, but I would definately suggest mastering.

hey , im doc 4440 and i have recently started to buff myself and other people. my buffs range from 2200-2300, so i am thinking is there any point in mastering doc when i can do pretty good buffs already?

Two things:

1) In PVP the higher the buffs, the better, so the extra points are important. But with Bivoli and BE clothes, not to mention the 110 droid, it's not as important as it once was.

2) If you craft medicine it makes all the difference in the world.

3) If you got it to buff yourself, or if you don't do high-end PVP or craft, 4440 is just ducky.

Seeing as u can buff for 2200-2300 atm i'd not bother with the master. Im a master doc and i buff 2400-2450 with doc food and 110 med droid so ur doing really good atm. Ppl would still pay 12k or so for ur buffs, go and be happy

Well, you really need to consider 2 things. Number one is that do you want to craft your own buffs? Since you stated no in your post earlier, then master doc isn't worth it. Second is, are you satisfied w/ how much you buff for now? IMO 2200-2300 is more then an adequate. Hell, I'm a master doc and usually I don't use bivoli and only buff myself for 2000-2100. So once you way it all out, sounds like the answer is no for you. Hope this helps.
