Thread: CU, TC5 crafting notes Resource details up to and including org chemsitry 4, abecs now high power!

Just been testing on TC5 and for some reason liquid suspension experiment like they are bio effect controllers and the same with solid delivery shells, with options for charges and the power that cmes with that. Im wondering if this is what its meant to be, or if its a bug


also a standard bec with 44% experimentation had 16 power! this is as good as a abec with around 44% exp atm, so this gives a lot of scope for having things with a lot more charges by looks of things



stim a

12 units organic

12 units inorganic

(optional) bio effect controller

(optional liquid suspension



stimb need

15 units of flora

15 units of chemical

1 liquid suspension

1 chemical release duration mechanism

2 identical bio effect controllers


StimB came out at around 139/9 uses, pretty crappy but resources and components were awful really and only up to 10% experimentation

needs combat level 15 to use


Both the advanced bio effect controllers and the advanced liquid suspension need the same resources as in live still

Although like the standard ls there is experimentation for charges...


Ok Just made an abec (yeh i went to lok an dropped a harvestor )

49% experimenented into effective ness and the power of the abec was at 37! only 1 charge and its at 16% on charges, but still very nice power in these new things, im assuming all the advanced components will follow suit like the basic ones did


edit:- tried experimenting on charges, it appears a full 10% of experimentation is needed to get 1 extra charge :/ if not more, as 44% exp gave 4 charges on the abec, appears to be same for charges on als



ok tracked down dant berries and talus water, unfortunately the berries are awful, and the water isnt great so capped at 36% experimentation with 26 power


ok also tried making an infection amplifier, i have ever done cm so have no refference as to what is good or bad, but at 40% exp on power and 6% on charges i was at 81power 4 charges and it cost 14 units of reactive gas and 14 f aluminium


havent got resources to make a dispersal mechanism yet but they cost 12 units of liquid petro chem and 12 units of inert petrochem


Resliliance compound 12units reactive gas, 12 units radioactive 42power 8 charges at 20% ad 15% experimentation respectivley

Out of curiosity - are the charges on the LS based on OQ and UT, or did the devs actually realize that neither berries nor water have UT?

having to drop harvs for all these resources, (the frogs chuck out max ber harvs)


crafting exp is same as, so is healing, but from a grinding perspective healing is slow, but if you think about it its nos lower than it was for those people who actually healed theyre way to master doc

aye, looks like they might cap at 75ish power, but have to try exp on charges and see if its 1 point per charge or better

I will try to list some of the qualities of the resources I surveyed for. Hopefully we can get good resources to see what the best can be for each craftable item. I'll have to jump back ingame to do so but I need to eat first lol.

while this is true, we dont have acces to the bioengineer trees yet where the 'high end' items will be, and hopefully avain may be a part of this. But what this ifrst part of CU has shown is that the stacks we have for our main compnents aare not wasted.

Yeah but ppl didn't spend millions on resource kits to make Tat FP and LWW. What about Avian Meat? THAT is the major stack of resources everyone has. Funny, didn't see it mentioned for stims...
